While binge watching "The Good Wife" trying to get to season 5 (which is supposed to transformative) I found this tiny 30 second gem that for some reason recapitulates the weird banality of my neighboring town: Sherwood, Oregon.
It took me nearly 80 episodes of other bits and pieces of banality to get to this particular scene, but I think it was worth it. Portland is Weird, but Sherwood turns out to be even Weirder!
Please pay especial attention to Jess Weixler's fluttering eyelashes at 9 seconds and again at 16 seconds.... you cannot teach that kind of acting; you either have it, or you don't.
