This is so underrated wow your so talented by the way

Just came across your yt, searching for art journaling. I love your style- seriously. I’m pretty newish to experimenting with anything outside just a pencil and a piece of paper afa traditional art goes, but I have gotten some watercolors, gouache, poscas, tomboes, a few neocolors. I LOVE how you use the neocolors. Simple, but strong lines like you know what you’re doing. I didn’t think I wanted the primary color set, but I think I do now. Anyway, I have a question or a few questions, could you make a video showing your thought process while doing abstract art? I feel like I could learn from that because I like the way you do it, the way your color is well, But I just feel like I would make a big mess. I’m kind of a perfectionist, even when I try to make a simple sketch for a painting or something, I end up going all in the sketch and zoning out and forgetting that I was gonna paint it. Lol Anyway, I really want to try abstract art and wonder what kind of paint you use, what you’re thinking as you paint etc. Also, at 10:38 or 1048, you wrote white over black. What did you use for that black part and then how did your white stay so opaque, what is that? Sorry this turned into a book.

Your art journal is so inspiring! I love how minimalistic, abstract artsy, simplistic most of the pages are. I dig that! I hope that this makes you feel better about your art journal, that others like your work even if you don't so you won't feel too bad about it. I hope you were in a good place when sharing this. It must have been difficult to do so esp you seem to have a lot going on... and I hope that things are looking up for you now! <3 8:02 - That's one of my favs! Tbh I really love all the pages but I remember this one in particular coz to me it looks like umm... sad blob is in a space where there's nothing (no accomplishments, success, nothing) but outside that (in the dark zone) there's all kinds of things and blob just needs a little bit more to achieve them. So the words gives me hope that sad blob will try again and reach them! So this kinda gives me hope. I hope it will give hope to anyone who's like sad blob. Don't give up! I add a page in between to help protect my oil pastel art too! I also use clear tape (the wider it is, the better) and stick that to prevent them from smudging. Won't be able to work on it again and the surface of it will be shiny which will result in a glare when taking photos or videos but it's a great alternative to using a fixative. You can also tape down the clear plastic from packaging materials instead of throwing them away or cling wrap/clear food wrap if you got them.

Your art is supposed to be an expression of how you are feeling at the moment. Never apologize for feeling the way you feel and expressing it through that art. Some people don’t have an outlet. Art is also about trying new things. I’ve tried so many new things in the past few years. I’ve done a lot of them badly. 😬. I just go with it. I love your journal! Keep going with your intuition

i love the way u journal!! i used to struggle being consistent because i was too focused on making it perfect and neat,,, but since my own journalling habits have become more creative im enjoying it a lot more!! thank u for the inspiration 🌟🌟

Super satisfying Performance Art!

🫶🏼👏🏽 I’m also a fan of writing freely and obscuring it with art, it’s really cathartic! Plus I discovered even old shopping lists can make an interesting mid-tone if I scribble a sketch over them and pick out hi lights in white, stops me getting nervous about the blank page😅
