It's one of those games that kicked your arse as a kid, because you had to discover the fusions on your own with no internet to help you and star chips were a fucking grind.

I FINALLY beat this game last year myself. Just farm Meadow Mage for S Atk and Pegasus for S Tec.

I have to admit this is one of the best video games I have ever played before in my life but I can't finish it cause it's soooo hard this game is meant for people with very high IQ's

Because it's insanity and no rules which a lot of us miss because lets be honest the new rules are really dumb.

-be me 8 year old kid -play forbidden memories on a slim PS2 -can't save the game because the memory card seems to be broken -lose to Kaiba if not earlier or turn of the Playstation because I already played all day -game over -start again with a new deck over and over and over -receive childhood trauma It took me nearly 20 years and ~30€ to figure out that you can't save PS1 games on a PS2 with a PS2 memory card. I kept my PS2 all this time to beat that childhood trauma one day but apparently you can't even save PS1 games on a slim PS2 if the PS1 memory card isn't an original SONY one. I could emulate it, yes, but that's just not the same.

Played it long time ago like 20 years ago on a ps1 or ps2 then after a long ass time on pc trough emulators and now I got the itch to play again so I got it on my phone. On emulators I used mods at some point to get the 99999stars and I progressed almost to the end but I dont remember ever winning. Its gonna suck if the version I am playing doesnt have all the cards.

I beat this for the first time yesterday with only 2 equips. Just couldn’t get any more to drop😂 only one final 6 run so didn’t have any trouble besides some with seto 3rd

I played and 100% this as a teen.

The gameplay is pretty good, basically Yu gI oh without 25 years of bullsh*t.

I have so much nostalgia for this game, absolutely love the simplicity of the game and really wish modern Yugioh would go back to being more simple.

But still not in ps store!!! I also love it, it was my first yugi oh game!!

I always wanted Tri Horn Dragon in this game. Sadly you can't get it without game shark.

Loved this game as a kid. I think a modern version would work quiet well. Similar gameplay with some new features and rebalancing. It doesn't need top of the line graphics. Just a bunch of monsters, across all eras of Yugioh, a balanced difficulty curve and engaging stratigic gameplay.

This was one of the first yugioh games I had played and I somewhat still have it and it makes a great addition for inspirational games

This Game is so cool, i did a real life Yugioh Duelists of the Roses Board Game with a complete Ruel book 😅 with Cards from the Goat Format, and it works 💁‍♂️ This Game is a great Insperating. Great Rewiev 👍

I tried this Game out, but its not easy to understand and its ltl slow😅 i played two lvl and quite it. Thx for explaining this Game, may i tried it again some day😬 Right now im on ff8, yugioh rush duel on switch(is better than i though) and some Digimon Games😅

Exodia was waaay to OP. Once you get Obliterate, the best strat is pretty much shield it with Kuriboh, then send it straight in the middle of the enemies starting area within range of the enemy simble, survive 1 turn, then destroy everything. The only way I have ever found that at least the symbol can survive is if its light and has most of its points dumped into defense. I did try a Blue Eyes strat to compare, but its so underwhelming in terms of offensive power that the only real strat is to tank hits and heal, but even then its no match just for Exodias range alone, let alone the damage. No matter what formations you use, its nearly impossible to corner Exodia and get in enough attacks to destroy it before it can obliterate. Some wind monsters can come close, but lack the extra damage needed from type advantage, yet can give light a run for its money. The rest of the types were alright for the most part, but water was just there to be there

Spoilers: I always liked how the bad guys in this are the only ones with a plan to send you back home and even do it. Honestly it seemed like once the bad guys realized they were in the wrong, they ended up softening. It might be the legitimately better ending overall for everyone involved.

Capsule Monsters lets goooo!!! I love this game though I think i have been liking Duelist of the Roses a bit more in recent years. I need to replay them both but god I miss this music. I used to often take what my symbol is and what can beat there weakness. I often chose dark as a kid and teen and often use lightning to back me up

just because you love the game doesnt make it good yugioh CM is a badddd game, for example i love the GBA yugioh game RoD its a realllllly bad game or just really hard, but i still love it and find it the best yugioh game

Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters is what this reminded me of, but the difference is that it was simple not adding too many systems to it where it expands on the gameplay.

This is my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh game of all time. I have played through so many times, and every time I learn something new or find a monster I thought was underrated. It is so satisfying beating literally every monster with an army of kuribohs. Awesome video, thank you for giving the game I love some of the spotlight it deserves.

Between forbidden memories and the anime, I never actually learmed how to play this game at any point that I was actually into collecting the cards. My first deck had nothing but 5 star and higher monsters. Hardly any traps or spells. Absolutely unplayable😂

Fun fact, there was another game that was a bit of a sequel to Forbidden Memories, Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Falsebound Kingdom

i think when people refer to it predating the card game they mean predating the ruleset as in it was already getting made and published before the rule set came out

Do anyone knows where to dowland the game? I cant find a ISO, only bin and one rom that has the dpad inverted and cant be changed...i used to have the game....but my ps1 collection is long gone

I managed to win this game when i was 12 years old The trick was mystical sand stone D. Twin headed thinder dragon Equip and field spells And grinding meadow kage and pegasus for meteor b dragon and secret trick is to have 3 memory cards and each memory card ygo save must different character name and you could trade every card you want from the fisrt save to the second amd then to the third save amd you can have all the best cards rhe first save x3 At least that’s how I beat it xD
