Yugioh: Capsule Monsters (Both PS1 and PS2), Forbidden Memories, Duelist of the Roses and Falsebound King should have it's own collection of Yugioh games like the Game Boy games

Great Video! I also just discovered your channel and I love that you talk about older Yugioh games a lot! You’ve just earned my sub! I can’t say I’m not disappointed by not having some of the other games on this collection like the world championship games and falsebound kingdom specifically, but I feel like these were just wishful thinking on my part. I really believe that if this collection sells decently well, they’ll start making more as they did with the Castlevania and Contra collections.

i always come back to this game. i played it all the time as a kid got stuck and gave up. then i grinded and beat it after a year when i was like 10 the accomplishment i felt.i had no idea what i was doing or who to grind to get the right cards let alone knowing what tec and pow was.

Omg this game was so fucking popular in Argentina! I remember when my friend challenged me to create a desk in the holidays to played against him through LAN when we would come back to classes. It's so nostalgic.

Just like Haunted Castle (aka the Arcade Castlevania), I hope that one day Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories gets a revisited realese along side with the original version.

Personally think they should've started the retro YGO video game collections with more recognizable titles so they can have increased sales to pitch other collections of more niche titles. Now we are at the mercy of a collection with some decent but extremely aged GBC/GBA titles to determine if we see more in the future.

You could easily make a 3D era collection of games and the tag force games can be after they get to releasing GX collections.

to be honest I always found the Fusion mechanic in Forbidden Memories to be very interesting.

i actually like power of chaos even play it some times i think its fun and can bring u back to older formats sadly the modes dont work they only change the img of the cards not the actual effects

I remember my step uncle, not much older than me, 8 or so years, we would always hangout together at my dads every other weekend. My dad got me every 2 weeks and when I was there he would come stay too. He is the one that introduced me to much of my interests today. Yugioh, dbz, anime in general. But capsule monster coliseum was one that we played all the time. I’d do anything to go back in time for just one more all nighter on this

Currently playing through Duel Academy (2006)-the 1st polished yugioh game. If Konami is making changes, some suggestions: - more Deck Loadouts. The Exams have certain conditions (use lots of traps, lots of fusions, indirect damage), so having Loadout slots for a minimum of each Exam type would be convenient - Duel History to track wins/loses against each NPC. There is a title which requires 10 wins from most characters - a Quest Log to keep track of which Events were completed or not unlocked

Where is the real life community? Let's make an online version, or maybe make it work somehow with dueling book

Man I replayed this game so many times as a kid. I really wish it had a post game where you replay against everyone but they have higher level pieces, they evolve their pieces, or fuse. Imagine a rematch against Joey and he uses Red-eyes and he’ll fuse his pieces mid game into Thousand Dragon and Flame Swordsman.

I just finished Reshef last month, was too shirt but i enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait to have more, hopefully with multiplayer features.

Brilliant video. I'm Having a go of Kaiba the Revenge right now ( I couldn't get Yugi or Joey to run lol ). Its a fun little format that I could have 100% obsessed over back in 2004. I think I'll look for a mod to give more cards at the end of the duels though because life is too busy now. I look forward to your future videos.

Playing online multiplayer on these old games, is like playing a real Retro Format that Master Duel doesn't have!

Ngl... I was dissapointed when I heard FM, DOTR, CMC & FBK weren't gonna be added. That was a huge miss on konami part especially since everyone would've loved playing it on a handheld like the switch. At the very least I hope DDM and the rest of the games in collection gets an online mode to play against others.

I am completely unsurprised. GBC/GBA emulation is incredibly easy to do and get right. PS1 like Forbidden Memories? More difficult, even on the Switch, but it's been done. It'd be a lot more work compared to the other titles, though. PS2? That ain't happening with the Switch, that's all but guaranteed to require actual porting, which is far more effort. I can't think of a single game from that home console generation that's officially on Switch through emulation. The closest being Mario Sunshine, which is partially emulated.

Forbidden kingdom, duelist of the roses, and capsule monster colosseum were the only reason I was buying this. So huge pass for me
