Northern Vietnam | 4K Cinematic Video of Ha Giang and Ninh Binh
Northern Vietnam is home to some of the most incredible views in the world. We explored the mountainous Hà Giang area along the loop. This is a popular trip stretching 384 kilometers near the border of china. You take the journey on a moped, giving you unobstructed views of the scenic mountains and lush greenery. We slept each night at cozy homesteads, hosted by amazing people that cooked us wonderful local cuisine. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
Ninh Bình is a small city area that features lush green mountains and crystal clear waters. It is famous for being one of the filming locations for Kong Skull Island. There are numerous caves around for the thrill-seekers. The area can be explored on foot, as well as guided boat tours along the rivers that will stop off at several historical and religious areas. The entire area is truly magical.
We did our best to capture both areas with cinematic drone footage, but they should definitely be put on your bucket list to experience in person.

Indoor Tropical Plant Moss Wall 1 Year Follow Up
มุมมอง 7543 ปีที่แล้ว
Doing a follow up video to the indoor moss wall we created. We have since built a second moss wall and have had very good results getting Philodendrons, Amydriums, and Monsteras to grow larger leaves using it. This video covers the things that worked well, that didn't work, and improvements we are going to make to future moss walls. Sit back and look at the results achievable in a year when you...
How to make a large moss wall to encourage larger leaves with climbing tropical plants
มุมมอง 9223 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey guys, in this video we are going to show you how we make moss walls to put in our indoor green houses. Having a moss wall will allow your climbing plants a secure place to attach, and encourage root growth. This gives them secondary sources to pull water and nutrients from. If you keep the wall damp, it will definitely encourage aerial root growth which will help your plant leaves get even ...

How to propagate Monstera borsigiana Albo variegated house plant
มุมมอง 15K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey guys today we are going to be walking you through propagating the rare plant Monstera borsigiana Albo. You can use these same techniques to propagate other plants as well such as the philodendron species. The way we demonstrate today will give your cutting the best chance of surviving and continuing to grow new roots. There are of course other ways to prop as well such as air layering, whic...

    I read about the variegation. The one information say the white spots you can have, if you take your plant on a sunnier place. The other information say, no it's not work, because the mutation say, if you get white places on the plant or not, you can only help to get more white places on the plant, to cut the plant on the right places. If the plant get toooo white leaf, the plant will die. On other information about a "expert", no the plant don't die. Hmmm.

    • @thehappyplace4685
      @thehappyplace4685 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Variegation in plants is like cancer in human. You don't want it to take over. A little bit of it is okay. However, the plants itself will be "weaker" than a regular one. They will be more finicky, require more nutrition to maintain their leaves, etc. I don't know about the "right place" to cut as I haven't experience my plants losing their variegation. I do think light is a factor despite what everyone else said.

    Oh my good. A Guy they use Alcohol for desinfection his Tools. MMMMH. Great! I like it! Do you experimental with h2o2? It works really well with plants. :-) You work with hot wax. I think if i do it the same i can't do the Plant in water or can i too? (sorry for my english). If the Roots to short, it works with perlite too? Or i must do the plant in the water? I don't try it to do in perlite. I must water the plant than every day with perlit?

    • @thehappyplace4685
      @thehappyplace4685 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't recommend propagate this type of plant with water as I have not gotten any success with variegated plants in water. When I propagate in perlite, I do in a hydroponic set up. The plant will be pot up in perlite in a pot with drainage hole, and then that pot will be inside another pot which act as a reservoir and have no drainage hole. The 2nd pot will be fill with water about 1/3. Perlite will quick up the water and create a moist environment. You just need to refill the 2nd pot whenever the water run out. Hope this helps

    Very helpful video! My albo doesn't have any ariel roots. Any way I can encourage it to grow some? Also, would you recommend propagating (taking a 2 leaf cutting from the top of the plant) in winter of the plant is kept indoors and warm? Thank you!

    • @thehappyplace4685
      @thehappyplace4685 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would recommend propagating in moss. If you want you can contact me through my insta @thehappyplace46 and I can walk you through it (: If the plant is kept indoor and warm AND UNDER GROWLIGHT, I dont see why not. There are factors you will need to consider in order to mimic Spring time

    • @remi2nice
      @remi2nice 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tie it to a moss pole and spray daily to keep it moist (or opt for a self-watering/wicking pole), that will encourage aerial roots to branch out as they have something to cling to

    • @thehappyplace4685

      All plants have their own time-span for doing things. I purchased a Philodendron melanochrysum with one very large leaf. The leaf died about a week after I received the plant. It had roots and the stem and that was it. It took the plant 6 months to put out a new tiny leaf.

    • @ashleykbarks
      @ashleykbarks 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I know, if it was in soil, you can put it back in soil. In their case, that is why they guided their aerial root to the dirt before they propagated it because then it grew roots in dirt to support the plant. If it goes in water after being in soil, it *may* rot.

    • @thehappyplace4685
      @thehappyplace4685 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Like Ashley mentioned, if you already have your aerial roots already grow in soil like ours, you can pot them up like normally. However, if there is only short aerial roots or no root at all, you might want to consider different method of propagation such as perlite or sphagnum. I have not had any success with propagating variegated plants in water so I cant comment much about that

      Does it have very high success rate for propagating cuttings only with roots? I have cuttings with roots but doesn't have leaf.

    How do you water them?

    • @thehappyplace4685
      @thehappyplace4685 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      After I repot, I didnt water for a week. Then I give them a good drink, let the water all drain out, then wait til the soil is dried. I did it every 2 weeks at first. Once the plant got more roots and started to put out new leaf, I started to water once a week
