Hey Guys,
Thehappyplace46 welcoming you to our new series on plant care. In this series we are going to cover everything we use to grow and propagate our plants. We will be covering everything from the soil we use ( in this video), to our lighting setups, greenhouses, fertilizers, and everything in between.
We will be covering all types of plants from our favorite tropical's like Philodendrons and Monsteras, along with other species such as succulents and cacti.
In this episode we cover the soil mix that we use, as well as some alternative options you may have heard of. Be warned, the most hyped mix is not always the best. Symbiotic Fungi, Humic acid, what are they and why do you need them in your mix? Watch and find out.

UPDATE 06/27 : I visited one of our local hydroponic stores today to find more options on coarse perlite since Vigoro is only sold at Home Depot from what I found. Here are the two other brands that you can look into :

Great video! I had the same experience with Aroid mix that have bark and charcoal but none of my philodendron like it until I switch to this mix. Love the video, thank you guys! 💚
