Gotta love Garfield! I've never played this. I haven't even heard of it. I like the artwork a lot, actually. I'll have to keep my eye out for it on eBay.

My aunt had that game in the 1960s. I also have a vague memory of watching the game show on tv.

Yes for a 2 player game for Route 66: The Mother Road its 8 stop signs. However for a 3 or 4 player game it is a different amount of stop signs.

Always great to find a treasure in the thrift shop. For $3 I found a 1956 Clue with the cellophane still covering the parts and the board looks unplayed. I’m hoping someone does a review of Summit (MB: 1961) as I thought of it but only have an iPhone and iPad without a tripod. Wishing you a happy early birthday too. I’m two years ahead of you and will be 52 in September.

5:37 my favorite: the 3M bookshelf games. That’s one heck of a collection there. I’ve got 14 myself and am adding to it as finances permit as some of them are quite expensive. They’re great for taking to a friends house as they’re compact and easy to carry.

I think I see 20 3M Bookshelf Games behind you. That’s an amazing collection 😎 you could make an entire series on those alone.

This one's a bit sick, although the booster shot did ease the worst symptoms a little... 😁 I know, I know, but you have to admit, I've been very good these last few videos, with no "sick" puns or anything, and you had to know it couldn't last!!? Cool game, great artwork, I really like it, and payday's on Wednesday too! Excellent video as always there mate, a game I've never heard of before.

For my money you really can’t go wrong with the 3M Bookshelf Games. I’ve not found a dud yet and am now up to 12 in my collection. My favorites right now are: Acquire, Stocks & Bonds, Executive Decision, Mr. President, Facts In Five, Bazaar, and Twixt. Looking forward to the Top 50 Vintage Games with you, Norm and Matt. I hope some 3M Games make the list.

The 3M bookshelf version is definitely the best. I played a newer version of Bazaar and didn’t care for it. Then I played the 3M version with a friend and quite enjoyed it. The 3M bookshelf games are just cool 😎

This is a really fun game. I remember playing it in the 80’s (I’m two years older than you) and somehow it got lost in a move. I did acquire another copy about six months ago and have been enjoying it with friends. We usually meet up on weekends and play a few different games. I like vintage games the best (pre-1995 or so) as those are the ones I’m used to and played going up. One of my favorites that I’ve yet to see anybody review is Summit (MB 1961). I call it the “Cold War” version of Risk. Great review here as always. Keep on gaming 😎

I just ordered this myself for $8 (along with some other board games). It looks like a lot of fun and is quite an original idea. Thanks so much for your reviews as you’ve steered me on to serval games I had not played before. I’d like to see some more reviews of your very nice 3M Bookshelf Games. Oh man I remembered this when I was kid! I was too young to understand how it worked, but it was fun playing around with all the pieces. The one thing that confused me though was the weapon "Bath" mixed in with more practical sounding weapons like gun and brass knuckles. Is "Bath" slang for something? I can't stop thinking Dick takes the criminal into the tub and washes him x3

Nice! I found this game recently at the giftbox in my neighbourhood. I thought it's cool game to play, but often have difficulties understanding the instructions. This was a very clear explanation, thank you!! 😊👍🏼

Hey... you reviewed a game I already own, that doesn't happen very often. This is a good little game. True, you don't really need the chips or holder... but it does add a little class to the whole thing. It's really simple, but that's not a bad thing, I don't want to have to play a four hour long game which demands a degree in nuclear physics, everytime I have a few friends around for a session. I need to check, but I think according to the rules in the box, you're supposed to draw a card at the end of your turn, but your way - drawing it at the beginning - seems to work too. Maybe I'm wrong about this, I might be confusing it with some other game, I need to check the rules... Great video there mate, but that's not unusual, Here's a thumbs up for you.👍
