Great to look at, and a fun to play game... what more could you want? And thanks for saying it has similarities to Beer and Bread, I knew there was some game it reminded me of, but I was tearing my hair out trying to think what it was.
One quick question, what triggered the Purple player bedding down for the winter? I must have missed this, was it because he didn't get a card?
I think this one needs to join my collection, thanks for making me aware of it.

If you don't like what's left for you to get or if you are left with nothing, you can choose to wait for winter and lay your worker down to "rest". Then you roll the die to see how many cards are shown. Or you can simply remove the worker for $2.
