People, books - and even Wikipedia - tell them in endless variations, and different scholars and artists have a wealth of opinions on matters concerning our cultures. If you heard or read this story differently from the way I am telling it to you... you are probably right too.
Please use my videos as an introduction and then dig deeper into any of the topics that I am talking about. I can promise you the discoveries you will make are more than worth the effort.

From what I reckon from this video, the association of Tengu with the Garudas and the Yamabushi would render them good spirits. The Garuda are depicted as eagles which prey on nagas. This can mean spirits (including human spirits) that roam high in subtle ether, which have superiority over spirits that roam the earth (since nagas are serpent-like). The Yamabushi train to get siddhis, spiritual powers, to overcome their weaknessess. In this way they elevate themselves, and their spirits float instead of being attachted to the earth (vices, passion, etc). This is generally a good omen. I don't understand the association of Tengu with the cause of war during the warring states, honestly. If anything, it's the ashuras that are behind all war in the human realm.

I wanted to see if the Native American Medicine wheel had an equivalent in East Asia, and it does!(I believe that's where it's origin, or at least part of it, may come from); I looked at my ancestry, and I notice after it says "mostly European" & around "17%-18% Native American", it eventually says "mostly European" & "12% Japanese"(I learned that some of my ancestry is connected to the indigenous Japanese Jomon, intersecting with "Early Bronze Age Malaysian Hunter Gatherers"(also with samples from Jomon Okinawa & Sanganji Japan(even with the "Mumun culture" seemingly enough in Korea) & potentially even to the Fujiwara Clan of Japan, to "Miyamoto Musashi no Fujiwara"); I spoke to a Japanese Elder named Kinko Ito when she was visiting the Ainu in Hokkaido(The Ainu remind me of the Native American Kawesqar in Patagonia) and she told me in Spanish: "Si Puedes hablar Espanol, puedes hablar Japones"("If you can speak Spanish, you can speak Japanese"); I told her while I don't consider myself a "hafu", I do consider myself a "rainbu", which she appreciated(or "the reinbo" as she calls it); it was nice sharing with her 🔥🌧🌈🌊⛵

@ZENUPYourLife-withSanaSakura I recently learned the maternal haplogroup that my Father inherited from his Native ancestry(D4h3 from Great Grandmother Lita & potentially some Great Grandmother Numa as well; I also found I inherited a wee bit of maternal Haplogroup D from my Mum too, even though she is mainly European, with one patient thinking she was Japanese lol) is found most predominantly in the Native American Kawesqar of Chile/Patagonia(some of the original Native Americans or what the PNW Native AmericanTlingit call "Shuka Kaa"; "Ancient One/Ones" or "Man Ahead of Us"); The Kawesqar reminded me very much of the Ainu Jomon Interviewed by Japanese TH-camr Kinko Ito; a Japanese TH-camr named Kaya said that the Paternal Haplogroup D of the Jomon still live in the Japanese today(I found I also had an ancient sample connecting me to early bronze age Malayasian Hunter Gatherers that had the same Haplogroup D as the Jomon, noting their connection, most likely from the Native lineage; there was a sample from Mexico from the 1700s that connected had a close connection most likely to this Hoabinchian Malaysian sample also found in Okinawa Japan, Sanganji Japan(north of Tokyo, most likely connected to Emishi/Ainu Jomon+), and even Korea(most likely South) when the Jomon were still there; as for the maternal lineage D4h3, I noticed my Great Grandmother Lita resembled a "Yayoi woman" more than a "Jomon Woman" seemingly enough; however, D4h3 has been in Japan since the Jomon period, showing Jomon and Yayoi women, excluding the men, were always connected on some level; for me, I feel balancing both energies is important(there are some images of Izanagi that remind me of a bearded Jomon Man and Izanami as a Yayoi woman at times); I think of the quote of Miyamoto Musashi, Jomon & Yayoi both:"A river cuts through rock not because of its power, but because of its persistence" or as the Native America. Kawesqar "Jomon Male Yayoi Female+" say over 20,000 years later sailing from Japan and back: "they had a son, and named him Akiepena/Rainbow"; beyond "hafu", comes "Rainbu"🕯🌧🌈🌍🌎🌏
