@@jamesbruno2432 I think that it is nuts that the thing is right there on the left side of the screen but you don't notice it and I was so focused on sneaking up on its hole that I didn't see it right there.

I realize that if you have never bred snakes on a large scale for a hobby or for a business you may see it that way and not fully understand what you are looking at, but after getting advice from commercial breeders and doing this for 20 years and hatching out around 1500 babies you learn what works. You may not be able to see it but they have no difficulty eating and are only in the feeding container for a few minutes. The small containers help them to find the food immediately. Again, if you have never done this yourself, I can understand why you may not realize that there is no problem at all in this method. To address your misunderstanding, they can easily eat this way and they are not in there while they digest their meal. It is not cruel in any way, shape, or form. I believe you have never gone to a reptile expo. Before you do, let me tell you what you will see, breeders not only display their snakes in those style of containers but many keep them in that same size while they are hatchlings for months at a time. It is a shame that people strongly comment based only upon emotion and with no knowledge or experience with the subject matter and perhaps did not even watch the video all the way through. I posted it to educate people but I can't make them give it their full attention.

I know, pretty stupid but I just had to do it. My friend thought that I used a filter for the hair! That was hystHAIRical!

In some ways, I'm a Lannister. Whenever I owe someone money or I am leaving a doctor's appointment and I am checking out, I ask if I have to pay anything yet and I always say, "A Lannister always pays his debts." If they are GOT fans, they get it but I said it a week ago and had to explain it. Funny thing though, the receptionist said that her friend had recently insisted she needs to watch GOT! Thanks for watching- it wasn't exactly like I wanted it to be but I do it for me and I giggle every time I watch it!

The diversity of life is rather astounding.

It is what I call my pandemic haircut. I'm used to getting it cut every 4-5 weeks and it is a long story but it has now been 51 months! It can be a real pain but I am sort of owning it now. I keep meaning to make a video of the story and progression of the growth. Now I keep saying that once I lose about 35 lbs I'll cut it back or possibly go to the other extreme and shave it completely off (donate to locks of love). My mother told me that her father (I never got to meet him) used to completely shave his head and then let it grow out for months and do that over and over and that he insisted it kept his hair from falling out!

@@dembemutebi8228 Sorry, just seeing this, I wish I got notifications when folks commented. Truthfully, compared to some of my dive buddies, I haven't been to that many places. It pretty much is Florida Keys, Jamaica, Maldives, and Bonaire but I hope to go to a lot more places in the near future! There are lots of places to take lessons and Florida has lots of places to dive and is conveniently close. I loved the Maldives - it was my first and only liveaboard where you stayed on a boat the whole week but Bonaire is a big favorite because it is less than 4 hours from Atlanta and you can make tons of shore dives. It took me 18 years to do my first 172 dives and only 16 months to do that many (going 5 times, basically every 4 months) in Bonaire.

EXACTLY! I kept wanting to somehow get in a kayak or SUP and pick that stuff out. Drives me nuts. When shooting the video, I didn't realize the stuff was in view. It really jumped out at me as I was watching it on the computer.

I don't know how long (not stupid at all!) but yes, they do sort of kick up a bunch of sand so it covers them up except for their spiracles and eyes. This one was huge and the funny thing, earlier in the day, I was on my bike and wishing I could see a ray (I had forgotten that I saw one at the beginning of the month). So I thought I kind of 'willed' this one into existence.
