It's ok, I literally just finished the game. But no it's not better than Skyrim. Honestly KCD has some of the worst quests that I just wanted over and done with, some of the worst quest I've ever played in my life. Particularly the monastery quests. I'm glad I played it but there were some moments I just wanted it to be over. Especially with the way the game does saving. I think the internet is on fire and KCD is experiencing a honeymoon feeling with fans, but coming straight out of completing the game is would give it a 7/10

8:10 your upset there's not smithing skill? This game they tried to make realistic, so would you like to spend 2 in game months making a new sword for yourself? LMAO

I really loved that you have to learn how to read. Most games just don't adress this AT ALL. It was really refreshing to me.

this game is very important in showing people of the medieval era as people, who loved, cried, laughed, and were like us today

I actually completed this game before finally getting around to playing Skyrim (I was always firmly on the Fallout side of things), and yes, I 100% agree. I'm certainly enjoying Skyrim, but I find it to be a frustrating experience, because it very often presents a whisper of an interesting idea, but nothing more, and you're left imagining all of the ways in which the game could be better. Often in these situations, I would realize that the improvements I wish for would simply make the game more like KCD. Honestly, given how disappointing Starfield was, I think Bethesda should just let Warhorse develop TES VI.

Listen. I forever will know where I was when I first saw the Skyrim edition game informer magazine my friend brought to school. I forever will know where I was the day it came out and where I was when I first put it in the console, what time of day… the smells. I can’t honestly tell you where i first heard of KCD or when I started playing it. Skyrim and Oblivion will forever hold a fragment of my soul that I can only say hello to by going to Bruma or Whiterun, getting woken up by a hooded figure, or getting a notification about my new vampiric disease I only have a few days to fix. That being said… KCD is just a better fucking game man. Sorry.

Why devs are not coming back and finishing the game? While game works it is empty only gameplay is to kill monster, for that you need items and after you get items kinda no reason to play. "Spell" are not what you expect. Some(half of all) are convoluted and slow, too slow for combat. Example of fireball - cast certain element thing on ground which you need item (which you can grind by sleeping and resetting merchants or natural spawning locations but its not fun) for that, lock on enemies that has to be close enough for lock on to work then shoot twice and start dodging because monster is not dead yet. That not very fun fireball to me. AND number of spells is small like 4 per element, half are not dmg based spells. There are other skills that use mana and do dmg but spells are few. Mages can choose gear for mana efficiency or get more mana, there are no channel spells or shield spells that would take advantage of your regen. Taking a lot of mana is punishing and brings no benifit, best to take like 40 and thats it, i hate that with pasion, mana amount or regen should be in its self a build foundation. Magic system while praised is small, a wide puddle. Game is wonderful but seeing what it could be with just a few month of working on ANY part of it is infuriating. Outward devs are making another but i fear same result with upscale graphics. Will i play it again - yeah. Will i, after remembering why i quit, rage at screen detailing how it could be better with one update - yes. Game is good but bad. Try it yourself

I like kingdom come a Lot but un my actual pc The cpu overheat to 80° so for The healthy i didn't ended it

I dont share your sentiment with kingdom come. Mainly cuz ive never played it, nonetheless i get where your coming from. Dodge roll has been a thing before castlevania I think. To slap lables like that id rather say this gives Fable nostalgia 🤔

They really could have done a blacksmith mini game just like alchemy. They can reuse the bellows too, plus it’s be fun to put different handles on different blades, heating up and shaping the blades,

This game is more punishing than dark souls especially in the early game

So a game that came out in 2011 is older and behind than a 2025 game got it 😂 make it make sense Skyrim is better and the new Skyrim whenever it drops lets do a comparison and look how Skyrim will be better

i once didnt know borders and got out of the map, and when returning to the map, while in the way to rattay, it said i saw a dead corpse, i said investigate, some random cuman with a axe chased me back to rattay, i just ran and spamed arrows, but he just attacked me till i saw red on my screen, some random ahh guard popped up from the bath house and they figthed alot, and when the cuman died i looted him and goed back to the place, i saw another cuman, finished him with the cuman axe, i got from the other cuman, looted him and sold it, gained a 600, mid for a whole ass rented soldier tho

Unmodded, yes, but the modding and tools for Skyrim wins for replay value and overall hours of fun

for me i think it covers a wider playerbase, since it doesn't have the whole magic element (wich i'm not a fan of, i'm just tired of dragons and electricity spells), and the historic scenery is just so good.

I would die and dont know that butterflys means a safe zone to camp😂

Just came here to say no shit its better, skyrim is slop. just look at the main part of gameplay.. the combat, its the worst combat system in any rpg ever. only people with certified donkey brain can actually defend skyrims combat

The game is a m a z i n g. It's beautiful, the dialog and cut scenes are amazing and I love how realistic it is. *That being said*, I don't think I've ever wanted to put my fist through as screen as I have while playing this game. Archery is actually, genuinely trash. The arrows will not go where you want them and I'm by far not the only one that have noticed it so I know it's not me. I can deal with the weird pickpocketing, the lockpicking and alchemy, but for the love of God the archery is.. Damn. I think I've uninstalled and installed the game probably 4 times already.

I couldn't imagine comparing two vastly different games from different eras in gaming. dense

Imagine a fantasy RPG like Skyrim with the realism and combat system of KCD. That would be insanely goated

Ugh, I'm so sick of any game that's even remotely hard being called "souls-like" Especially since Demon Souls isn't even close to being the first game to be hard and most of its difficulty comes from "bullet" sponge enemies, which anyone who enjoys actual hard games, will tell you is crap faux difficulty.

So happy I've ordered collectors edition of KC2. Will pay for my cats college when I sell it 69 years later!

we all got to remember Skyrim is on five different consoles, including three console generations Skyrim might have more sales but it's not better

I have waaaay more hours on Skyrim than kcd…. but KCD is a complete masterpiece

How does it compare to Elden Ring?

My only complaint is that many of the side characters look too similar. The same faces keep popping up in different roles, just with different hairstyles. It's a shame that Larian let this slide in such an otherwise great game. Maybe they were rushed for time?

And Skyrim had about 10x the money Warhorse had for KCD
