Scouts were really hating on Lamelo that year. It was clear to everybody who watched him play he was a top prospect. Cole Anthony was being hyped up, but Lamelo was clearly the better player that year.

I’m an Arizona Wildcats fan so it’s cool to see what happened with Nico. I’ve been following Josh Green with Dallas. At Arizona he didn’t have a consistent outside shot. It’s good to see he’s improved a lot. He’s a really good guy so I really hope the best for him.

What most of you fail to remember is that the NBA is a business. Even as successful of a career as Patty Mills has had, I really don't think anyone has geared up to go see a game because he was playing. The flipside is EVERY city that has an NBA team will have people purchasing tickets to see the Lakers this year simply because Bronny James may enter the game. 7m is a drop in the hat compared to what revenue will be generated by this pick.
