I have 500x when warm its ticking i listen with my screwdriver on the alternator and it seems like its comming from there. Did it also made a ticking noise ?

Bugatti the same. Vw parts. Bentley. Vw pheaton parts.

Like it was on mk3 mondeo and x-type suspension parts. If you wanted suspension parts for Jaguar then it was much cheaper to buy these for mk3 mondeo.

Hi Mark, mine went at 12 midnight tonight, thanks to your video I managed to disconnect the cable but my resistor doesn’t seem to twist at all whether it be anti clockwise or clockwise?! Do I have to undo any screws or clips before twisting it?

Piece of junk made of cheap substandard parts. But then what else would you expect of a fiat?

Put some Ferrari parts on it.The French have messed it up.For those who dont know the French have also made a mess of the Maserati.

My colleague had one and there was a random bumping noise. She took it back and back etc for ages and Fiat then declared that such a knocking noise is just normal or a design flaw or something else worded such a way.

Had one of these with 60,000 miles, a 1.6 diesel, I had injectors go, alternator gone, engine mounts the lot, terrible car

I've often just cut the head off of the seized bolt. But access can be very tight depending on the vehicle.

What brand is that new alternator? Napa by any chance?

Just did the same in a Captur 2016 1.5 DCI. It was EXACTLY as you showed, I mean the pipe was cut at the same spot. There was soot on the green pipe which showed the problem. It would not measure the differential pressure due to the loss of pressure from the ruptured pipe and would not calculate the soot load on the dpf. Changed the pipe and everything works as it should.

So the only issue I see having if I do my T5 is the replacement of the fuel filter. I dont have that electronic tool to pump the diesel in the new filter before starting. Is it some other way???

Adblue good for ships but rubbish for vehicles. As a truck driver myself the trucks fall to bits compared to the older non adblue trucks. Hate the stuff
