is 40 vs 30 better when changing oil ?
It’s recommended for built engines or let’s say your engine is leaking oil. My Subaru has a built engine so it takes thicker 40 weight oil. My 09 Lexus it does not leak but I noticed by changing to a thicker oil it helped slow the burning of oil.
Why u rednecks are so stubborn to destroy lexus with your redneck "tuning" these are not miata or gt86....
Anyone with any info on a 2006 gs430? 192,000km(Canadian) 10g
Great cars... just got a 2010 STi hatch for myself, which is currently being de-stroked to a 2.35 and will rev to 8k (400whp), but always enjoy the Evos.
@@MattBowler nice that sounds like a great project ahead of you. My last STi was fully built. Really enjoyed the 500+ hp club. I am starting all over again with the blue car now.
The car looks clean, I love it especially if it's a daily. I would go with Toyota❤❤❤❤
@@johnnjoroge8646 absolutely thank you for watching. Toyota just keeps going and going. Solid car!

I have a question about the transmission fluid. When was the last time you changed it?
@@diamondc14 yes… so I changed it soon as I got it. I bought the car with 139k miles changed it about at about 145k. I noticed a much smoother transmission shift.
@ great I appreciate the response. I recently purchased a 2008 Lexus GS 350 with 175,000 miles on it.. the car was taken pretty good care of. I’m gonna do the same and change the transmission fluid as well.
@ anytime… sounds good yes I did all the fluids just as a re assurance for me. Enjoy the ride!
Interested in a 2013 gs350 115k miles is that a good buy? Asking cost 14000$
@@tatgotlocs835 hello, actually that is a good price in my own opinion. The miles are not much either. Mine was a 09 and went for 12k with 139k miles.
Je veux aussi quand on réparé ma voiture ford fiesta 3
Enjoyed that brother, thank you for bringing us along.
@@Murtayafourfun much appreciate it bro. Next year I plan to go on a Friday. The event has literally outgrown itself.
Mine uses up oil quite a bit as well
Oh snap to hear that, my remedy was spark plug change, with two bad coil packs, also replaced PCV valve and lastly changed oil weight to 5W 40.
Nice 👍 brother! I got a 2010 gs350 I bought in 2017 with 80,000 miles on it and now just turned 140,000 miles with no issues (thank God). It’s all wheel drive, I’m up in the north east and it’s excellent in the snow. My wife loves it. I’m running it till the wheels fall off. These things were overbuilt and you can’t find that in other cars out there nowadays. The only issue I have is that after about 3000 miles after an oil change I have to put about a quart or quart and a half of oil in it. Other than that it’s fine. I like the white. Mine is reddish marrone.its hard to find these anymore. The people that have them are holding on to them
I appreciate you watching + the comment. That’s awesome key word you said over built. They are excellent cars. Mine was burning oil too. A few things I did to reduce that was I changed the PCV valve, did all spark plugs, lastly changed the weight of oil from 5W 30 to 5W 40. That has reduced it brought the oils burning down. Lastly instead of 5,000 miles oil intervals I just do mine at 4k. Despite using synthetic. * you are right is actually a rare car to see out on the road* you see a lot of the 4th gen.
@@GroupBEJ25 thanks for the info brother! I wanted to change the pcv valve but my mechanic said it was ok but I still think it should be changed. I use 5w 30 full synthetic on it and my maxima and I usually change it at 3500 or 4000 miles but not over that. I didn’t think about changing the weight of the oil but I’ll look into that. Thanks again brother
@ anytime, yes at times the PCV valve do fail maybe yours is still good? The weight on the oil was a suggestion from my tech and it seems to work.
10 to 20mm spacers. Thank me later😂

I work for Hines down in Houston, Tx and we do not work on chillers like this. Awesome work!
@@htxrsx2047 this is awesome to hear from another Hines person. Yes absolutely it’s a little more hands on. Unfortunately I am now in a smaller building with no chillers so it will be a while till I touch them again.
@@GroupBEJ25 I work for a high rise building in downtown (55 floors) and its a AA building so our budget is high, we just contract every repair needed but it sucks because we don’t get to touch any of the equipment. Only when we do preventative maintenance on our AHU and Cooling Tower. Hines is a great company!
@@htxrsx2047 ah sounds good yea budget is key especially when the company owns the building. Lately the buildings I have been in Hines just do 3rd party management so it has been quit a learning curve for me. Yes in deed I am currently clocking 16 years + with Hines but obviously the east region, Washington DC. Congrats maybe I’ll stop by one day when I come to Texas. Do you happen to work with Eduardo L?
@@GroupBEJ25 wow what a milestone! I’ve only been with Hines for roughly 1 years and a half but my dad has been working for them for about 20 years. Thanks I appreciate, I believe it is crystal white pearl. Depending on light it can show a little bit of purple/pink.
The wide body looks incredible!!! 🤩 How did you get the lines so clean on it!? (Those are Karlton flares, arn't they?) 😁
Thank you, yes they are karton flares but metal. I have the original flares with me at home. The metal was fabricated from the original flares. They are revited ON then molded to give it the clean look. Only down fall the front tend to rust in some sections due to not running fender liners. i am look for an alternative to fix that.
I have a friend that he work doing deliveries and he own a 2004 Corolla CE, he buy it the car have 178k miles and a salvaje title at, with he hit 222k miles the transmission and catalytic converter go out and he still driving the car, today he have a rear end accident for sure the car go be totaled lost again but he still driving he is at 230k miles and he said he not go stop driving that car into the insurance company pick it up the car (we found somebody roll back the miles on his car so tue car have around 350k miles)

Where did you get the transmission fluid changed, Lexus dealer or what kind of shop? Just bought a 2007 and want to do all fluids. There is some dampness around the transmission pan, which I suspect could be the gasket leaking. Was that also something you experienced when changing the trans fluid? Lastly, I’m guessing you did a drain and fill or did you flush? Thanks and appreciate your GS 350 content.
@@jtftw360 Thanks for the question. I went to a trusted local shop. I normally don’t go to the dealerships just my preference though. So luckily I didn’t have any dampness well not yet. I used Motul oil for the drain and fill its what I did. It was worth car does run smoother till this day. Thanks for watching!

I lowered mine a year later back to stock. It rides way better stock. Vibration only gets worse and ride was horrible. These cars look good lowered but the AWD versions do not take well to being lowered. I had BC Racing AWD coilovers btw.
