Boss RC1 Looper verse Boss Street Cube 2 Looper
มุมมอง 1.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Reasons why i use the Boss RC1 over the in built looper on the Boss Street Cube 2. I prefer the RC1 as it is easier to use and as you need a foot pedal with the onboard looper of the Boss Street cube 2, i would rather use the RC1. #boss #accousticguitar #BossRC1
D’Addario Folk Nylon Strings on a Steel Strung Guitar
มุมมอง 4.2Kปีที่แล้ว
Currently up in Hawkshead in the English Lake District and took the guitar I covered in a review a couple of weeks ago which cost £100. Decided to change the strings out for D’Addario Nylon Folk strings with a ball end. As explained in the video you may have to alter the angle of the neck using the trust road. It has made a massive difference to the sound of the guitar, so if you are looking fo...

I saved a life today - Original song (Yamaha NCX1 & Boss Street Cube 2)
มุมมอง 522ปีที่แล้ว
I wrote this song after reading a sorry tale of a young women who was driven to the age. I guess when you get to my ripe old age you don't understand this world anymore, how in a civilised society can we be driving people to this sort of desperation. Played on the #Yamaha NCX1, through the #Boss Street cube 2 and recorded on an I phone. Used the Harmony function on the Boss with a bit of reverb...
Logjam Stomp Box Test - Using Yamaha NCX 1 and Boss Street Cube 2
มุมมอง 587ปีที่แล้ว
Bought the Logjam micro stomp box, and this is the first test drive of it. The unit requires no batteries and plugs into an amp via a standard jack connector. Connected it to the Boss Street Cube 2 into the instrument port, turned the Bass all the way up, added a little bit of treble and no highs. If you have a bass amp it would sound even better. However it works really well through the Street...

Boss Street Cube 2 Harmony Function - Try this out! (Fields of Gold cover a cappella)
มุมมอง 4.6Kปีที่แล้ว
Tested out the Harmony function on the Boss Street Cube 2, the best way to show it was by singing without the music so you can hear the effect, so at the risk of appearing a Pratt, I have attempted to sing with out the music, so be kind in the comments please. Even though this maybe at great personal risk to your ears, you can clearly here the difference in each of the settings. I hope you find...

Very good sound ☺️😊
Nice !
Talk louder can’t hear you
I've got one of these and it's great for it's price. My only problem was the new ones had very scratchy frets. If you spend some time polishing the frets it becomes an amazing guitar
Thanks for the video
"Spruce top" meaning spruce-faced plywood. (You have to understand G4M terminilogy).
Nicely played Jack. Mine just arrived today. I noticed the intonation is really bad, was yours like that with the factory strings? If so, did it improve after you replaced them?
*My MAIN guitar along with my GUILDS* ❤ This Yamaha is great for street musicians and songwriters! Very clever design and wonderful sounding and build guitar. I do covers on my channel with the Yamaha LS TA Cheers friends and PLAY ON 💥
Can you plug in 2 mics for a HandPan?
How do you plug the looper in ?
Hello can you use the harmony function with a footwitch ?
👍
You are Brilliant!! I love your reviews! I am looking for a good classical guitar for under 1k. Is this the one you would recommend?
@@chipbellpickleball1177 most definitely it’s the best classical I own. Thanks for dropping by 👍
Gracias Jack!
You are very welcome 👍
I kept waiting to actually hear the guitar being played. What a waste of time.
Beautiful song. I really enjoy your singing and playing. Thanks for sharing.
It sounds good. It's cool that it has a looper.
Why don't you show us the harmony function....🤔
I think it sounds robotic. The machine not u. The ve-8 or tc helicon play acoustic has the most human sounding harmonies of the multitude I have tried. The ve-8 uses batteries so its better for busking, it also has a looper. I would call this a doubler as it only offers a single voice on top of yours. Use fake harmonies sparingly and less is more with the levels or you end up sounding like A cylon from the 80's tv program battle star Galactica. Nice demo though, thanks. I have been performing and busking for 43 years now. I have an older street cube ex and it has never given me any problems. If the harmonies were better I would consider buying this to carry less and have less cables as I have the ve-8 for way better harmonies and an ok looper. By the time you add both control foot pedals though to use the function I would be adding a cable and a box. The ve-8 does it in one box. Has great guitar effects and more harmonies along with voice mods to add distortion to the voive . I can mimic that 70's lofi sound.
Nice video but very low audio.
hello Jack, thank you for your video. I live in France... A question should I use a mono or stereo jack cable? Thank you Aldo
Thank you very much for this video! It was VERY helpful!
Buy a guitar for your purpose and skill level. Some guitars are better suited for being plugged in, some unplugged. When you are a novice theres great disadvantages from buying a crap instrument, it will cause you more pain and make learning even more frustrating than it has to be. When you are skilled you buy what sounds the best as you can afford for the application you primarily need a guitar for.
Waltur… you need to duo with me Waltur
Is $300 a good deal for a used one?
Why post such a poor video?
I have a Vintage Stella H1141 and I’m going to try to put Nylon strings on it. I really don’t want to but do I have to file down the bridge and nut to get them to stay in place? Like is it absolutely necessary or can they just rest on top and have the tension of the strings keep them in place
You have no idea how useful this was, thank you so much !
You are very welcome, glad to have been of help👍
I wonder why they did not add a master volume..to turn both channels up at once.. Also the looper volume cannot be adjused after recording the loop.
even the entry 230 USD dollar solid tops are well made.. I think Yamaha is good money for the bang..
It is scared
Uff joj 😬
I have a great deal of respect for your reviews! Ty for helping me with my purchase!
Thank you 👍
Nice water fall🤞.....just kidding... It sounds good and I'm going to try🍀

Wow, Metal Mickey lives! "boogie, boogie"
Please get closer to your microphone.
Will do, thanks for the feedback. It is appreciated 👍

Thank you 👍
Hi Jack, thanks for the demo. I already have a Digitech Live 3 Harmoniser which tracks ('listens') to your guitar and generates a harmony depending on the guitar notes. It actually works quite well and it does not require 'programming'. I am looking at getting a Street 2 so Googled "Goes the street 2 harmoniser 'listen' to the guitar and generates harmony's?'. Apparently it does! I need to dig deeper! Thanks again!
Yes it definitely picks up the guitar 👍
Gain noise lol
This one or boss acoustic singer live 60 watts ??
Despite the low audio, very helpful video. Thanks!😊
Thanks
This was really useful! Having red comments I will look for the Boss pedal for the harmony! Hey I bet you would do a great version of that song if key was a touch higher! Nice one!
Cheers mate 👍
Hi you sound like you’re from Lancashire like me, although I live in Spain. Am almost pulling the trigger on this just for a bit of busking with my mate, is it loud enough do you think, for a busy city street? And how annoying is it that they put the whole control panel “upside down “, do you have to keep getting up and going in front of it to change a setting? A minor issue but don’t know how much it would bug me, I can’t imagine why they do it
You got me from North Manchester 👍 it’s definitely loud enough, but the upside down control panel takes a bit of getting used to. How’s living in Spain?
@@jackfagan Ah fair play, a lot of my family are from Manchester area, great place for busking!! Spain is alright, like anywhere, depends when you live, I'm inland, couple hours north west of Madrid towards Portuguese border. Life is life anywhere, get up, work.... try to find time to play music haha
I played the FSC TA today at a guitar shop and was quite underwhelmed… it wasn’t as resonant as like and the lower end was lacking but I have hopes about this larger bodied model.
I pretended the FG TA
I enjoyed your review. I played an NCX-1C in a guitar store yesterday. I loved the tone, the setup on the guitar (action was decently low), but there's something about it, which I can't quite put my finger on that doesn't seem as comfortable as some other classicals I've played. I'm not sure if it's because it's a cutaway that it doesn't sit quite as well in my lap, or the angle of the neck, or the body maybe being a bit thin. I had the feeling while I was in the store that I wasn't seeing the fingerboard as well as some guitars. I picked up my Yamaha C40 this morning and I can't say I notice much of a difference, although I think it does sit a bit more comfortably in the lap. Not sure if you'd have any insights into the body being thinner, or the angle of the neck, or the cutaway vs. non-cutaway, or the visibility of the fingerboard.
It’s definitely the feel of the cutaway compared to a traditional construction. I have an NTX 1 which is much slimmer but prefer the N C X 1. I find it a joy to play however you do need to get used to the cutaway. 👍
I'm curious how was it recorded? Is that the sound of the line out?
Recorded with a mic, acoustics in the room not that good. I have used it with the line out and it sounds great with that as well.
It says in ur manual how to set eq Hold power for 10 sec and it will blink inside and u set it then
Thank you 👍
I like it! .. a lot!❤
Thank you so much
I like to see and hear classical guitars being strummed to the max and see how it sounds.
