Well not any fish... some species does much better adjusting their internal pressure to accommodate depths changes. Perch is the weakest among them. From my experience, walleye release well caught from under 30ft. Also I was reeling fish in pretty quickly so that adds to the difficulty of them adjusting too.

I would recommend the Ark gravity BFS, I played with the haibo arise reels same braking system with Ark. The dynamic brake is so stable and more complicating than standard fixed magnetic brakes. Recommend

I'm gonna just say that it will cast exactly like the elite. There's no difference in the magnetic rings, spool shaft are the same. Same zero adjuster. I mean that would be an interesting experiment haha. And I think the difference can be noticed the most when trying for long casts, that inductor spring will allow the lure to fly a bit further

Drench is a popular model! Maybe I will get one this winter. Haven't tried their non-noodle style fiberglass rod yet. What kind of fish do you use the drench for and what technique?

It's my goal to be able to cast the entire spool off. I'm still learning how to improve my distance. You mind sharing what kinda line and rod and brake setting for casting that far? I'm sure there's a lot to do with casting motion and skills but just curious about your setup

For freshwater bass or pike fishing I would recommend a Medium or Medium Heavy 6'10 or 7' rod with low weight. Obviously it can be paired with other kinds of rods it really depends on what lure you're throwing what kinda technique for what kind of fish.

Not on my Stradic FL can easy change 2500 spool to 3000 because having the carbon dragwashers

As far as I know same dimensions exept the 3000 have a deeper spool. As I use thiner braid for pike, perch, zander and seatrout I don't need a 3000 size reel.

Depends on what kinda fishing environment and what kinda of fish you are targeting. That max steel in XH might be a bit to heavy for this reel. This reel is super lightweight at 5.5oz. I would suggest pairing with the Royale legend pro or Royale legend 3 rod on Aliexpress. Color match plus the rods are lightweight

These bass spawn heavy by the end of June and you can sight fish them from a kayak in shallow. The creek can be fished from May to October. But best time is when the weed is thick and healthy and that's from end of June to September. If you stay in the middle part of the creek your propeller shouldn't get caught up in weeds.

I would suggest 3000 or even 4000. PE0.8 is great since this reel doesn't have a deep spool.
