I’ve lived in Petaluma all my life and I’ve never seen the first street on this video that’s said is Petaluma

You can't even walk across the city, because a giant highway runs through it. Avoid this city at ALL COST!

Try livung here and moving to small town in Iowa. It's so close to other places, I don't think it feels like a small town. Thank goodness it didn't feel like a small town!

Thank you for being so honest about the traffic situation. I was practically screaming it in my head when you started this video. I had a job merchandising in the area, and traffic all around this area, Fairfield, Napa, Petaluma....horrible. Now, tell everyone about the trash along all the roads around here. If you don't like traffic, trash and taxes, you won't like California. Been here for 8 1/2 years. Leaving.

Thinking about moving there and getting my real estate license. Is that a saturated field there right now? How are schools there? My boys are 12 and 9 both are in the gifted program

How could you possibly say SR is your favorite city when out of your own mouth you say you’ve never lived anywhere else?! I was raised in SR, left at 18 for the Army and lived in 5 other states before moving back around 28 years old and now in my 30s. During those 10-11 years I was gone I visited roughly 40/50 states amongst multiple countries etc. I say all that to say SR could NEVER be the best city of anything anywhere 😂

There are homeless people everywhere in the country. No big deal that it is in Santa Rosa. Why don’t you talk about the prostitution? You’ve totally ignored the prostitution! Do you go to bed before dark every single night? Maybe it’s your favorite part of Santa Rosa so you don’t mention it. 😂

I’m trying to move back in 5 yrs or so. Grew up in rp but lived in Santa Rosa most of adult life until 4 yrs ago. Now I’m in Oklahoma with a home worth almost 100k. I’d probably have to get a mobile in a park and rent a room to a friend to offset the land lease. Hope to find one available in the 150k range at that time, who knows though

Lived in Santa Rosa when HomeBase and Yardbirds were the only home improvement stores in the 90s . . . left because the traffic on Hwy 101 was horrific. Driving to SF took a long time because Marin traffic is awful. Has the traffic situation improved any?

Too many gangs these. It used to be a nice town.

Santa Rosa is rated one of the priciest cities to live. In America! It’s rated one of the worst places to retire! -At least, in my google searches?! What a realtor spin you managed to put on this? Maybe it’s great, I don’t know. I haven’t been there, I am just talking about what I found online. Besides you, I mean.

I guess real estate agents aren't allowed to talk about crime? That's a definite concern on Sebastopol Rd and also around the Shulz museum, unfortunately. I'm looking to rent, not buy, and am hoping to find a nice safe affordable neighborhood. I used to live in the JC neighborhood and really llike it. But I am considering the west side. I've been looking at crime maps and think maybe it's safer as you get further from downtown, more towards Fulton Rd?

You don't mention the beautiful area of Santa Rosa's east side Bennett Valley neighborhoods, I refer to the area of Summerfield Heights, Bennett Valley Heights, and Fairway View Estates all located on the east side of Summerfield Road. Then there are the excellent condo areas near Bennett Valley Golf Course on Yulupa. People need to know that Parktrail Drive, Carissa, Santa Rosita, Annadel Heights, Hillsboro Circle and associated neighborhoods are special. Though we are included as SE area, the neighborhoods are safe, reasonable, and have great potential. I'd include the area around Strawberry School, Horseshoe Drive, Alejandro, Creekside where I often see very reasonable listings.
