What version of INPA, EDIABAS is this? I installed INPA 5.06, both the battery and the Igition dots are black which means the cable is communicating with my R53. I get error message "IFH-000: DATATRANSMISSION TO INTEFACE DISTURBED. Program will be stopped," when I select the Egnine, EMS2K. Also, in main INPA menu, selecting "info" button, the information screen indicates "EDIABAS" Ini path:??????????, Ecu path:????????? and Interface:???????????? What does it mean? Not sure if you are still using INPA, any help would be appreciated!!! I want to reset adapations on my R53. Thanks!

Hi, great vid! I’m looking to add the twin dials (but without the chrono pack central dials, keeping the big speedo). I understand that it is plug and play but also that to get the warning lights to work properly I was told you need to code it to twin dials - is this an option you can set with ncsexpert?

I have an 2007 R56 base non turbo that I replaced the transmission. Would I just need to update the vin# in the code to my vin. Car cranks but won’t start after tranny replacement.

Thanks for this, I’m in Australia and in summer I’ve noticed the high speed fan running for a while after turning off the car, especially after stop-start driving. Im going to test mine today. Annoyingly I didn’t think to test this when I had the front end in service mode - is it possible to replace the resistor without going full “service mode”?

Hi James .. great video.. it was a lot of help for ncs expert .. just a question or 2 .. my abs pump needed replacement and I did that .. the problem I have now is that the traction control light is permanently on.. my question is .. is it possible to recode the unit to remove or turn of this light and restore the traction control.. can this be done in ncs expert and do a restore to factory in it .. I would appreciate and input or a video even better .. again a great video .. by the way it’s a Mini Cooper R50 01 plate ..

hello how can i do the american style turn signals for r53s

With this could i say, have it ignore my steering wheel airbag since i have an aftermarket wheel and no airbag the light is constantly on. Also i ripped out my steering angle sensor accidentally when adding the wheel could i code that out as well with this

This worked for me really chuffed. Only thing I’m struggling with is find which program will just read faults as I bought a laptop with all the stuff of it on eBay it’s very confusing

So, is this the same programming system to set up the chrono pack for the R53. Ive already ordered my gauges and heard i have to get them programmed. Pre face-lift model.
