What's REALLY inside of a cheap exhaust??
มุมมอง 1.8Kปีที่แล้ว
Join me as I open up a knock-off SC Project slip-on exhaust for a Ninja 400 and see what is inside of it! Its not exactly what I was expecting and left me with more questions than answers...

I'm going to get 2024 just as soon as they smooth out some of these launch issues. 2020 in VR is already kicking my 4090's butt so I'm not in a rush 😂
Since you have a Haltech, ditch the stock CAS and get a trigger kit. It's the best thing you can do for any RB, even if they're stock. Thank me later (I've owned an R32 GTR for 8 years and learned the hard way)
Yeah the trigger kit was in the plans but I actually just sold the car a couple months ago & heading back to Japan!
@WaterCoolerRacer well it looks like I need to catch up to your videos. Have any GTR plans on your future?
Congratulations
650❤❤❤
Awesome comparison. Way more useful than any other I’ve seen! You earned my subscription!
Good video I’m a big rider and just wanted to buy this bike for commuting and was worried if it would work on the highway with me.
Hell no an ls3 can close to 800hp for less
Where do we get our Ecu flashed? Online hopefully?
I got mine from Moore Mafia, you mail the ecu into him. Check out his site and his youtube, great info and great guy!
What exhaust?
Oh wow, i commute between ohio state and the Akron area evey week or so and im a complete beginner, which one would you recommend?
That's a pretty long commute! I would recommend the Ninja 650 for a bit more power on 71 and there is a big difference in comfort going up to the 650!
bro 10k for 350hp....
is that a oem rebuild or forged ?
Is that a gtr style front bumper?
Youre gonna buy a 400 and replace it in 3 weeks when you get bored with it snd realize it cant safely pass over dotted lines (too slow if theres even far away oncoming traffic.) Even the 650 is just way too slow. If youre gonna use it as anything other than a little toy, get at least a zx6r.
Just saw this beast on marketplace months after finding your channel… buying a modified car is scary, but seeing a video about it eases the mind 😂
That's fair 😂 Car is super solid, I'm sad to know it has to go lol
Hey mate! Could you tell me which option was this exhaust on the website. Want mine to sound like this.
hitchcoxmotorcycles.com/en-us/products/triumph-bobber-drag-pipes-short
@@WaterCoolerRacer Thank you! Best sounding exhaust!
@@WaterCoolerRacer So you simply installed the Slip-Ons and deleted the cat?
@@Roy_Camacho Yes sir!
@BryantintheMidfield Wow, so it wasn't even the Full System Exhaust, just the Slip-Ons, cat delete and BEHOLD! ...the sound of a glorious parallel twin engine! Outstanding!
The fact it still had a fan attached to it
Bro u paid like $30 per horsepower. The thing is you only needed to add 50 horsepower… but if u have a warranty good for a few years then 9k for a 0 miles engine isnt bad at all.
My wife wants to start riding she has been backpacking for over a year now im im leaning tword this bike for her first bike 🏍 is this the right choice
My wife started on the Ninja 400 and she loved it but a year later she got a Triumph T120. I would snag a used one of marketplace just in case she wants to get really into it later on a bigger bike!
3k difference in price is a big deal.
The fact this is even asked or a video exists about this at all for the Ninja 400 is dumb. People asked this about the Ninja 250, and I commuted for years 2 hours a day on it between Long Beach and Pasadena.
I am 99 years old not as sharp as I once was, but I still think I got it
I bought a new r6 back in 2003 for the same price as this. Crazy. 3 years later, i would buy a new r1 for 12k. Im glad i did but eventually youre going to die. 6 years on the streets was plenty for me!
Never mind the nay sayers , the - you could of would of hopped on one leg and shît on one hand and would have been cheaper, comments. $9K for a professional, reasonable, maybe scalable build is more than fine. You can also go back re-tune or focus on other aspects of the build or quality of life.
Clean asf nice color the car got Overall 10/10 r34 u got
For those of you who want to ride there is only one option... 4 cylinders, 1000cc...
Deep down it yearns to be a Ferrari!
For $9k you could’ve definitely build a poor man 2JZ GTE and made well over 500HP and I know because my boy did it
would’ve been much cheaper if you did it yourself
(1@49)
I wish I could’ve seen him on the bike before it went to 1st person
In my video comparing the 650 and 400 I have a shot from the side of me on each bike!
What’s the color
What’s the color on the car
You live off red bank right I love your car
Cx racing???🫥
I did the same for 2k just have to do everything yourself
2k for a rebuild and all of those parts? Let me guess, I also could have LS swapped for 2k? Clown
...all of that to be in par with a stock g37.. waste.
Find me a stock g37 making 350 wheel and I'll buy it ASAP. Clown
I'm 6.2 230 so this helps thanks g
Anything less than a 600 is a bike for first time riders to get the experience.. bike is more than enough for a beginner like myself
Love the rumbling and heavy breathing. How is the flyscreen working for you? Any advantages regarding wind noise etc.?
How'd you remove the stickers? For example, I like the Ninja 400 colors but not the stickers on them. (Ninja 450 this year looks sick tho).
I saw them at the Bike Shed Show at the weekend, had a good chat. I’ll go for theirs for my Bobber 👍 Lovely sound, wouldn’t bother me on a long distance ride.
the only thing that gets sore for me is my ass and holy shit it hurts on long distance trips
Go buy 636 and call it what I did
so sad its ruined😢
I have one and I got mine for about $12 here in the Philippines. I watched this video to see if it comes apart.
Good vid. Im planning a 800 mile round trip in California on my 400. Building my courage. Thanks
Where can I find the full exhaust system for my bike?
When im older im gonna either get a kawasaki 400 or CBR500R and my third option is A Yamaha R3
Will this fit a ninja 500
I literally put one on my ninja 500 SE today, fits great!
