I tried one of the King of Whatever books by Ana Huang and couldn't finish it, but maybe I'll try The Striker! I was watching and got jump scared by myself LOL! Thanks for the shoutout 🥰 I like to wait until I have a completed second draft to share with CPs for feedback. Mostly because, like you said, the first draft is SO rough and I would legit feel embarrassed to have someone read it at that stage! But also because I typically have revisions in mind for the first draft and why send it to someone else when they would likely give me feedback that I already know and want to fix? Ultimately, send it for feedback when you feel comfortable doing so.

I haven’t gotten much into Authortube yet , just a little here and there slowly but surely. but I feel that way about writing communities on IG. I didn’t know many authors and poets were still active on there until I came back with another account I’m working on building. It’s been refreshing and exciting coming across all the writers 🤍✨

Found your video looking for other videos about editing and revising. I am about to start editing my adult romance manuscript. I'm really nervous and if I'm being quite honest, I am literally using TH-cam to procrastinate sitting down and starting the editing. 🤣I have written several first drafts of books over the years....but I have never made it to editing. I've always been so intimidated and scared. But this year I'm doing it! Thanks for sharing your process! I'll be following along and rooting for you!

Girl your videos keep getting better and better omg I’ve been loving your writing vlogs and Its motivating me to get back into my own project 🤍 as for brainstorming, I think its totally normal to be constantly trying to figure out your characters all the way to the end. You want their decisions and actions to feel as true as possible! One thing I love is writing diary entries as if I were one of my characters. It helps me get into their heads so much better and understand how they feel about their circumstances. Keep up the amazing work jasmine! 🤍🤍
