- Trying out the Dewalt 20 volt DCFS950 fencing stapler. I ended up driving over 400 staples with a single battery. I concluded that in extreme heat that you may want to let it cool down after extended use. Over all, so far I am happy with this tools performance.
Great video. Farm owner and I need this
Great Video now I know exactly what it does and what to expect
Solid. Man I miss Kentucky summers
Thanks for your review,
Very helpful to see in use.
Hey, you’re welcome! Thanks for watching. Have a blessed day!
I'm glad yours is working. Mine's a piece of junk. You have to mash the tip down 5 or6,7 times to get the motor to engage. aggravating as hell
Sorry to hear, sounds like something certainly isn’t right. Hopefully this one will continue working.
Very nice I have a gas powered one considering electric good video
I know someone who would just love to be in a video. (Hi camera man) who ever you are
I have to get one of those
It’s really handy, I don’t know how well it would hold up for someone who is a professional fence builder, but for someone like me who builds a limited amount of fence every year, it works great!
@@kentuckytim4443 I'm also here in KY near Ft Knox. I wouldn't have to use mine that much either. Thanks I'm into the Antique JDs as you can see. Have 6 right now trying to sell 2 to get a 5th wheel trailer.
Curious…it seems you like to hold the stapler upside down in your hand. - is it easier that way?
@Ted Jordan , I like to drive the staples in the post at an angle, not one leg of the staple directly above the other, as this can cause the post to split. So I tilt the battery end of the stapler upwards so when stapling the bottom wires I have clearance with the ground. Great question! Thanks!
Will that also drive staples in a dry locust post?
@Patrick Stephens good question. Maybe a shorter staple.
Worth every penny?
So far I am happy with it. We generally build about one thousand or so feet of fence per year. I believe it will serve us well. I don’t really know how well it would serve someone who had a commercial fence building business, it might work fine under those circumstances, I couldn’t really say for sure. Thanks for the comment.
I'm curious as to how it will hold up under a good bit of use but I think they would stand behind it and it would be a worthwhile addition to someone's work
@@kentuckytim4443 Thank ya Tim!
