I ordered one, I downloaded and installed the DJI Ronin app, mounted the Raveneye on my 5siix, turned it on, chose the Raveneye Wifi, plugged in the cables, chose PC tethering... and it worked - literally up and running in 5 minutes :) What a relief after spending hours trying to make the Panasonic app work, which never really worked properly

Thanks, great video, great insights. I also use the Raveneye it's amazing. One thing though, your voice audio is too much S, you need to tone it down a little, way too bright and artificial.

Hahaha. I hate the Panasonic app for the GH5. I’ve been using the Accsoon CinewView Nano along with a wireless shutter release since the GH5 app was so bad. Made a view about it here th-cam.com/video/xeqTG02Oxlo/w-d-xo.html But turns out I already had the Raven eye!!! ( I originally got it to see if it could track me kitesurfing using the gimbal… but thats a whole other story)

I’ve made this mistake over and over, Kyle. It was only once I started following a structured process for my videos that things started working. Now, I go through ideation, packaging, scripting and shotlist planning before I even grab my camera. It’s less inspiration-driven, but it’s definitely more effective. And that’s what I want most of all - to be effective.

Just bought this for my FX3. However, in the Ronin app I'm only able to trigger recording to happen on the phone itself in 1080p. The record button has a phone icon on it. Does anyone know how to change this? I can't trigger recording on the camera by pressing the rec button on the app. I've checked every possible setting on the app and my FX3. I've also tried another micro-USB cable for the multiport to make sure the cable isn't faulty. Really frustrating!
