What about the drink/drug drivers who mount the pavement, killing people. They lose their licences for a couple of years and then get it back, thereby giving them the chance to do it all over again. THESE are the sorts of people who need to permanently lose their licence. Once again it's the pensioner who is being made to suffer.

I remember the FBI Agent Joe Pistone aka Donnie Brasco infiltrated the Bonnano Crime Family in New York, he started off in the Colombo Family and then went to the bonnano's. And he was undercover for six years, and once discovered that he was an fbi agent! They placed a Half a Million Bounty on his head, dead or alive. And I remember in an interview with Joe Pistone? He stated that and quote:" I die for you, you and anyone who is a law abiding citizen.. I am not dying for a Gangster."

the failure is by the judge who threw this policeman to the wolves by allowing his name to be released.....no one with a brain cell would give out this mans name and not know it put him at serious risk and his family......this country is run by idiots with power and it should not take a law to protect being named until after a conviction because logic tells you other lives become at risk such as the family of the officer in question.........the judge sentenced the police officer and his family before the trial........

That woman MP knows nothing within those 1900 who died in Police custody just means that shortly after a member of the public comes into contact with Police they then die . Even when a person is brought to the station they collapse and die . Even when Police so called babysits an offender in hospital , that would be a statistic that would say death in Police custody.

96 years of age is 21 years older than a 75 year old, if she's not had an accident in all those years, I think she's not done too bad. Yes, unfortunately someone has died, but taking away a persons means of independence, is a bit OTT. I've yet to see a person over 75 on their mobile phones, whilst driving, or trying to control their children, or checking their make-up. That person 'paul britton' is an idiot. What caused the lady to lose control, losing control of a vehicle is not the same as driving recklessly.

If this policeman is subject to further internal investigation his colleagues should hand in their firearms en masse. The court decision should be final factor. As for the female parliamentarian who spoke in the house, what else can you expect considering her obvious ethnicity.

It was interesting that the jury wanted it on record that they thought the case should never have been brought. The verdict was reached after just three hours or deliberation. Given that the usual suspects aren't whining about an all-white jury, I presume some black people were involved, which undermines the notion that all black people hate the police and side with gang members.
