Love the recs, thank you! My recommendation for you would be to read All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir. It follows the story of 3 main characters and how their lives are inextricably linked. It made me cry, it made me angry, and it also made me giggle.

I clicked on this video not even knowing that the first two were some of my favorite novels and I'm in the middle of good material right now!!! I thinkkk I may be able to level up into less beginner now and obviously we have similar taste! gained a sub from me <3

Hey, Angel! I've enjoyed listening to your vlogs while having the playlist run in the background. Any chance you've tried rice water for the skin irritation? Rice water (misted or patted into skin to dampen) can be "sandwiched" when accompanied with hyaluronic acid and a moisturizer. DearKlairs' Fundamental Watery Oil Drop might also be of interest since it's extremely lightweight (it solved a past dilemma with cream-based moisturizers, which my skin stubbornly refused...). Pardon the aside. Anyways, thanks for the video!

Lighting tip I learned.. it might be even more balanced on your face if you increase the distance between the light dome and your face. Basically farther = better diffusion, has worked in my experience. Love the new vlog series!

great list! i adore celeste ng & pachinko is one of my all time favorites!!! i would maybe add to anyone considering pachinko that its also generational and follows more characters than just sunya (even tho she is my fave!) i love the nix by nathan hill for another bit of a chunky option. it's about a man whose mother left him when he was a child, and now as an adult he sees her on TV going viral for throwing rocks at a prominent politician. it explores both his & his moms' lives as well as a few side characters. very interesting character psyches!

Everything I Never Told You absolutely wrecked me, I loved it so much. Good Material was also great, I enjoyed Alderton's dissection of their relationship. Gonna give your other rec's a try :)
