I use multiple programs for both texture and sfx editing. If you are referring to the "My Custom Files" option, then it basically loads files that are placed in the custom folder. It can allow you to play with other mods separate from this project.

This version of the mod doesn't include the GameCube controls, probably because Revolution is intended to be used in consoles too. You're gonna need to download the original Overhaul and import the control settings from there.

I don't know much about this error, but you can try to redownload Riivolution (v1.06) and make sure its files are placed correctly in the SD Card. Also in case you didn't know, the "Install" option just installs the Riivolution channel on your Wii menu. You only need to select "Launch" to load the mod.

No, you can find the files for alternate camera modes in the optional folder. You would then copy the GameType_Brawl.pvm and GameType_Story.pvm files from the Threat_Cam folder and paste them in the custom folder, similar to this image: imgur.com/a/QbIpfAs (Make sure the "My Custom Files" option is set to enabled on the Riivolution menu when you start the game)

@@VGF2615what does player 1 modifier do?

It enables the 1st player to always play as a specific monster. Basically, the main purpose of this code is to allow you to playthrough another monster's story with a different monster. You can view the ReadMe.txt document in the codes folder or the V1.01 Overview video for more information.

You still need to play with a Wiimote and Nunchuck on modded consoles, but you can technically play with other controllers by using controller profiles on Dolphin.

Check your gyro controls. Might be an issue with that.

For modded consoles, yes, though you could technically play this through a USB loader. However, you won't be able to use Riivolution with this method.

@@VGF2615 Hi, i actually found a way, i extracted the image using wii BaFu than old school'd copy pasted all the mods i wanted, rebuilt the iso and dropped it on the USB drive using the Backup manager, problem is, i have to rebuild the ISO every time i want to change something, but until i get a physical copy, it'll have to do. BTW sydney runs like dog sh** drops frames to the 10s when the camera is facing the city, was there some kind of optimization or fix that i missed or Sydney is just that bad on the wii?

Glad to hear it! Unfortunately, the game has always suffered from slowdowns, even on emulators.

@@Mateo-HD2004 Yeah sure, it's not very difficult if you're familiar with modding PC games. First off you'll need a program called WIIbafu. Place your Unleashed ISO into a folder and load that folder onto WiiBafu, it should find your ISO. Hit extract image and set it to extract to the same folder as the ISO, once it's done you'll see a folder with the game ID and the game files inside, back up the iso or the new game's folder, you'll need them if you want to return anything back to vanilla. Now inside GUOR zip file, you have a folder called gunleashed, you don't need to extract everything just look inside the folders, and all you have to do with is drag the files over to the game's folder you extracted and replace the original files with the modded ones, you can use a simple logic for this, most character and map mods go in Data>Files>Game however if you want to add a mod from like the music folder, just check the file name and extension. For instance if you see a .bik file and you look inside audio you will notice there are no .bik files inside, you look in video and there they are. just make sure they're the same files, drag them over hit replace and you're done, if it does not ask you to replace the file it's likely you're putting it in the wrong place some files like .BDG files are in more than one folder. Once you're done with that just head over to wiiBaFu add the folder if you closed wiibafu and hit transfer to image to build the iso, you could probably transfer directly to a wbfs file but i rather leave that to the backup manager, just let it build the ISO and transfer the game iso to your USB drive using your backup manager. One thing that i did was use the .RVZ file that comes with the Final Wars mod, that file already comes packed with a bunch of cool mods, just use Dolphin to convert it into a iso and extract it with WiiBafu, do the same thing, mix and match mods as you wish rememeber that you're replacing files, you can't add stuff only replace stuff so choose carefully what mods you want because you will have to rebuild the iso EVERYTIME you want to change something, be it a map or a skin, or build a iso for each configuration, that's why i'll eventually have to hunt down a physical copy at some point.

@@VGF2615 Ah, understandable, thanks for answering though! Cool mod regardless, I had fun messing with the different skins and all yesterday. Kinda off topic, but I was curious though. Do you have issues where sounds in Godzilla Unleashed will keep playing? Like I’ll have Ghidorah’s flying sound effects just keep playing well after I’ve stopped flying. It’s not a mod issue, as I’ve noticed it on my vanilla Godzilla Unleashed, I was just curious if this was a universal thing or is it my disc.

Yeah, the audio bugs are a universal issue for Unleashed, especially when there are more than two monsters in a match. I'm not sure if it can be fixed as it may be an issue related to the game engine.

Texture options can only be changed through the Riivolution menu, meaning you would have to restart the game in order to use different skins.

No, all of the alternate skins are included in the mod.

I don't own a Xbox Series X, so I couldn't really tell you whether it would work or not, but it can't hurt to try.

I have actually looked into that a while ago, and it unfortunately doesn’t seem like it would be simple to create. All of the gecko codes I’ve created so far involve changing values in static memory, meaning they are always located at the same address. The values controlling a monster’s critical mass seem to reside in dynamic memory, which would be more complex to change as their location can differ every time the game is played. The possible alternative would be to change the values in separate monster bundle files from the default ones and include them in the optional folder, but I think that would be a bit clunky. I do plan to look into it again in the future though.

That wouldn't work as this mod is for the Wii version.
