Accurate Carbohydrate Counting Wet Dry Cooked Uncooked Diabetes - Carb Counting
This shows how to carb count for cooked and uncooked foods and to split meal quantities unequally among participants. The below conversions will be very useful starters for ten, do your own as you may prefer grains softer/harder than I do etc:
1. Wholegrain Pasta = x2 (as in weight doubles when cooked versus dry),
Example 200g dry pasta x2 = 400g cooked.
2. Spelt Pasta = x2.6 (I used x2.7 in the video I know)
3. Bulgar Wheat = x3.7
4. Brown Rice = x2.7
5. Couscous = x4.5
6. Pearl Barley = x7 (check)
Good rules of thumb (UNCOOKED):
Almost all fruit is about 10% carbs, except banana, mango and grapes 20%
Almost all dried fruit (dates, raisins etc) is about 70% carbs, as is most flour.
Almost all vegetables are about 10% carbs, potatoes etc say 20%
Almost all nuts are about 10% carbs, except pistachio and cashew 20%
Almost all seeds average at about 20% carbs (so 100g of seeds is 20g carbs, this is very rough conversion however)
TIP - Weight your crockery with and without lids etc, this can help to get cooked weight of food by deducting crockery weight from total etc instead of suing more containers.

Worked like a charm! I had to look how to install ( i am using bodhi linux) and after that, it just worked. Thanks mate.
viewports are not useless
For the very beginners you forgot how to get the result (how to go there, the very beginners as me)
what if we want to create a fully functioning 2nd USB rather than a backup that needs to be restored?
Thanks for the vid nice work. As for the program as a long time autocad user, after trying Draftsite I did not find it a seemless experience at all
It's annoying this sound you keep doing with your lips and tongue....😂
Thanks, too late now
well worth its money
thank you it was very helpful
7 years old but still good. Thank you :)
thanks for the video
Very helpful, thanks 👍🏻
How I convert math type equation in LibraOffice equation editor please help me
What do you mean by "convert"? What do you want to do?
This video is so cringe. XD
Thank you Sir. I found this very instructive.
For those who want this to perform calculations, add the extension Dmaths: www.dmaths.org/documentation/doku.php?id=presentation:en There is a small annual fee, but it is brilliant. A detail on the presentation - instead of using an x for multiplication, you can get the cross symbol × by typing "times" in the editor, or "cdot" for the dot symbol, or use the menu items for either.
Thank you very much for your 4 garage tutorials! I really enjoyed them and learnt a lot! You should do more Revit tutorials.
Thanks so much! I really didn't wanna do this with a command prompt. I wasn't backing up a pi image but a batocera image for my laptop. I keep getting told how great things are in Linux and I was starting to think people were crazy when I'm being told such a simple thing takes this long. Back to loving Linux again. Lol.
Very helpful but so quiet that I couldn’t hear it when turned all the way up on my work computer
I am trying to copy fractions and paste into PPTbut cannot. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
I'll have a look, as a backup you could take a screenshot and crop it then paste in as an image. Should be able to just select in writer then paste in, check you have the right fonts in use or installed
Thank you. I need to be able to edit but cannot achieve that with pictures. Thanks
update: Draftsight is no longer free. they had a great thing and then slowly crippled the free version, now it's a $100 buy-in at a minimum.
1:15- excellent!!
I used a manual theodolite between 1966 - 1968 to track a balloon. Knowing the rate of ascent, the azimuth and elevation angles at one minute intervals and I was able to calculate wind speed and wind direction at various heights. This was while I was stationed at Guantanamo Bay Naval Air Station working as a meteorologist.
I'm using 18.3. Typing 'ima' in the Menu box didn't work for me as it did for you. I had to select Accessories to Disks. Found the SD card though and it was an easy restore. Thanks for this video.
ty
you are good
Thank you very much! So easy lol I am planning on moving my almost full 64GB retropie image to a 256GB. The next issue I see is getting the rest of the space on..but I'll get that working!
After a lot of frustration with viewports, I should have known that a chill northern accent would provide the answers - cheers!
Thanks for making this mysterious subject clearer.
It's not misterious, you just have to read the help files.
Very accurate; perfect! Many thanks!
Mine doesnt even have an insert button lol.... There ends all of what I planed for months.....piece of shit....
poor audio. Not hearing
Is there a way to automatically create a scale bar on the viewport?
Thank you so much for sharing. Loved the video and how to progress in the detailing.
By eck mate!!!!....Many thanks for the update, I was struggling with all that from a fellow Yorkshire man!!!..Cheers :)
Thank you; I found a reference for the templates in equation editor ascend4.org/LibreOffice_math_reference
Hi, I am using Linux Ubuntu. Will this work the same way? I am wanting to copy my sd card that I use in my rasbery pies in order to build one to give to my friend. Thanks.
mygame595 it should do, Linux mint that I use is based on Ubuntu
very usefull thank you none of the others have been
Tnx fro making this video. Please make the audio more clear.
Thank you!
Bizarre!!! Maths software that doesn't work out the answer.
Ben Frawley ha good point, sadly a word processing feature only.
It's intended for write ahd edit equations, and put them in a text... not to calculate. That's why you have the flow chart and formulas.
These vids are always faster at 1.25 times normal speed
can you print canvas from this printers?
ANTHONY MELENDREZ I doubt it due to thickness but I'm not sure, sorry.
How to open window with unary/binary operations or functions ? i've closed this window and i can not open it again, please help
Go into equation editing mode and under "view" select elements.
Say that your original image is 16 gigs, can you flash it to a 32 gig card?
MrRockfish01 hi I would have thought so but not sure. Perhaps format the 32 card as 16? Not sure sorry, thanks.
Yes you can but it will only show up in pie as 16gb space to get the rest of the space in the pie settings menu there is a way to expand pie to use all the 32gb :)
dude stop smacking we dont want to hear your spit thats soooo annoying
Watch it with (smack) the volume down (smack).
@@revityork5219 lol
your voice is very worst
You thank.
Please ignore that horrible comment by Mr/Misss/Mrs Araganathan. It's a silly comment.
A comment like this is a very good way to make yourself sound like a complete twit.
S ARANGANATHAN so is your grammar
xwinglover your profile picture looks familiar. Where have I seen you before? Oh I know!
followed the steps religiously, but when i double click inside the viewport it "activates" but doesnt react to any zooming or scaling... whyyyyyy???
The viewport may be "locked" something like that?
You saved me smashing my face against a brick wall! cheers
thnk u
Thanks man.
