Years ago I wanted to be a puppeteer so I found frank oz address wrote to him told him what a jim henson fan I was . And I wanted to be the next jim henson. Of course never be another jim henson. But frank oz wrote back to me sent me autograph but I misplaced it. That was so cool getting autograph from frank oz. Rest in peace jim henson carroll spinney and several others that passed away .

He was special, he was a one off his characters and stories touch hundreds of millions, he will be remembered, all of the muppeteris will, they were incredible performers, may they rest in peace

I watched the documentary on ABC and I laughed and cried at this. Truly a great man.

Watching the Muppets as a kid was magical. His guests, the puppeteers...all of it made this dream come true for so many of us. Thank you to Jim and Jane for the memories and the laughter.

I was there. I went to Cathedral School and they took us over. I was 7 and in tears because Kermit died.
