Mr.Lisle. You are an amazing apologist. Micah 5:2 is not declaring that Jesus is God. But the Prophecy of Scripture is declaring that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. How can you call a Christian Brother a heretic for believing that Jesus was Begotten. Since the Scripture is 100% clear that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. GOD the Father revealed through to the Apostle Peter. (Matthew 16:16,17) We have eternal life because we believe in the Name of the Son of God. Do we know that the Son of God was Begotten? Yes Do we know exactly how or when? No We know how and when Jesus was conceived and born on Earth. But how and when Jesus was Begotten in Eternity is beyond our understanding. Do we know when the Trinity doctrine was conceived? Yes. Was the Trinity doctrine taught by the Apostles? No The Apostle Paul never taught the Trinity doctrine. Can't God who made the sun stop, Stop the star too

How can God be glorified by saving me from my self destructive sin, freeing me from enslavement to my own desires for soul destroying sin, if I had never been enslaved to myself. I would have never understood the power of His grace and what a gift faith really is.

I've watched this video four times. I get such relief and comfort watching it.

Okay, but the star didn't have to be in the west for them to know where to travel. This dude assumes that if they saw the star rise in the east, then why would they go the other way. They knew it was king of jews so they were going to go west either way.

I love Jasons work and its amazing how he could still stay there and speak when there's people yelling and cussing him out I love what he does and that one day he will be in heaven with the king

It's so easy to yell, curse, and just show your willingly ignorant behavior (2 Pet. 3) without having a logical, rational, calm discourse. It is so much more difficult to keep yourself calm and willing to take verbal and/or other abuse simply by proclaiming a message of hope. Well done, Dr. Lisle!

His patience is incredible. People often get wrong what love is. 1 Corinthians 13 describes it perfectly. And verse 6 is an aspect of love we overlook, “Does not rejoice in unrighteousness”. Warning your neighbor of the cliff is the most loving thing you can do for them. Showing someone their sin is what we are called to do. But they get defensive and claim it’s a way to control them. I pray for all the lost to repent. It hurts my heart that they view Christian’s as moral dictators. We are just sinners with a savior! We deserve hell but have been chosen for eternal life. Thank you God!

A little disappointing not knowing or able to pin down what the "star" actually was. Early in this video it was speculated the star was not bright but then bright objects were postulated as candidates later in the video. I guess you gotta believe in "magic" to believe this story.

35:17 the fact that the star appeared again does not blow the Christmas star idea out of the water. As you said it may have been cloudy and they couldn’t see it until later.

God has blessed Jason incredibly, he's extremely intelligent. Also, he seems like such a patient and kind man (which are most definitely gifts). I do wish that he also used the same sound system as the crowd though, his headset and/or speaker is terrible here 😕

I've watched other lectures from Dr. Lisle, and he is always able to shed new light on tough questions from scripture, and he does it in such a logical manner that all can understand. An amazing mind and a scholar of the Bible, along with study from ancient historians and confirming evidence found by archeologists over the years. Even going back to the original translation of the ancient Hebrew Old Testament, which is the Septuagint, if we are looking for further clarification in proper context. He always produces "WOW!" moments.

Ignore the trolls they only speak truth , not fairytales preached to the deluded.

Great exposition, the timing is funny, because just as he talks about the baby Jesus and the circumstancecs (34:17) you hear the sound of a baby talking in the audience as if on cue.
