Pandan Chiffon Cake
Yield 1 x 7-inch cake
5 pcs eggs (separated)
30 g + 70 g caster sugar
40 ml vegetable oil
½ tsp pandan paste
70 ml coconut milk
90 g cake flour (sifted)
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp cream of tartar
Bake the pandan chiffon cake in the preheated the oven at 160℃ fan / 325 ℉ for 40 - 45 mins or until an inserted skewer comes out clean
Christmas Wreath Chiffon Cakes
Yield 3 x 7-inch cake layers
3 pcs eggs (separated)
20 g + 40 g caster sugar
40 ml vegetable oil
40 ml milk
60 g cake flour
A pinch of salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp pandan paste
A few drops red food colouring
A few drops forest green food colouring
¼ tsp cream of tartar
Bake the chiffon wreath cakes in the preheated the oven at 160℃ fan / 325 ℉ for 10 - 15 mins or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
Whipped cream frosting
½ tsp gelatine powder
½ tbsp water
300 ml double cream (full fat)
33 g icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
