Hello came across your channel. First time canner and would like to know the process please share your details.. Greatly appreciate your help.. God bless you and thanks 😊
@beachgirlrodriguez1911 Hi, thanks for watching. Make sure your canning jars are clean before you sterile them in the boiling water. They can't be sterile if they are not clean. The hardest thing for me is the timing, for instance having the jars sterilized at the same time as your apple syrup mix ready to go. Read instruction in the Ball Blue Book of canning before you can. Like I said in the video, that and "Putting Food By" are worth reading as canning references. Hope this helps! Good luck!
I started reloading for the hobby and to have inventory. I've long since paid of my equipment with material savings. I'm making range 9mm for material cost of 7 bucks a box of 50. Because I got a great deal on Hornady XTP I am making defensive ammo for about 10 bucks a box of 50. The time, Hey, everyone needs something to do on those winter days when the cold wind howls and there's only about 9 hours of sunlight.
@@phild8095 7 bucks per 50 is some of the lowest I've ever heard of. 10 bucks per 50 for defensive ammo is insanely inexpensive. Well done.
@@OLDSOLDIER6 I had a furnace tech in the cellar, He saw my reload setup and asked if I reloaded 9mm. It turned out that he had two boxes of 100 Hornady XTP BULLETS someone had gifted him thinking they were ammo. I got them for a song and dance. I have a decade or more worth of defensive rounds. For range ammo I'm using either Berry's Bullets or some of the inexpensive powder coated that's available. I've had no issues plated or powder coated in pistol or carbine and it is so much cheaper than FMJ. Also working through a 4 gallon container of Winchester 572 that I bought for about $110 a couple years ago and some CCI primers that were obtained before the jump to $80 for a thou.
I just bought some H335 and cci 400 small rifle primers to start re loading; have i made mistake ? or will they be okay I’m brand new to re loading 😮.223/5.56 I also bought reloading dies from RCBS that have carbide dies taper crimp small base marked .223/5.56 written on the Box
You should be fine. Please read a reloading manual before you start reloading. Thanks for the info. I have rcbs .223 dies and they are marked .223 only.
@@OLDSOLDIER6 Reloading is almost a must now in California; as buying powder &bullets skirt’s the new 11% tax on top of regular 9% state tax on factory made ammunition and guns at least for now👍🏼😎
@@richardevans3084 Lived in California for 5 years. It's definitely not a 2A friendly state.
I think they are fine, unless there is Avery tall person who can see over the top section!
@@williamgallegos8901 I appreciate your opinion!
Keeps the sun out so doing it’s duty!
Everything is simply a matter of opinion. If you like it, then it's fine. Don't listen to anyone. This is about what you want and think and that's all that matters. 💕💕💕
Depends on the desired result. I've set curtains like that to allow more sunlight in while maintaining privacy. You could buy a valance to make up for the lost space at the top, anyway.
If I cant see the Randal makers mark, the snaps and the sheath up close, I'm not buying that the knife is a genuine Randal.
@QuantumPyrite_88.9 It's real Randall but what you believe is up to you.
But maybe I'll do a short showing the above.
Whyyyyy The Honda 2200i uses 0.1 gallons of gasoline per hour at 25% load, which for this purpose would roughly generate 500 watts of power. It would take about 2 hours to charge the Jackery at this load. Assuming the price of gasoline is around $3.50 per gallon, the generator would consume 0.2 gallons, costing: • 0.2 gallons * $3.50 = $0.70. Thus, using the Honda generator would cost about 4.7 times more than using grid electricity (assuming no other costs like maintenance or fuel efficiency losses).
@todd987 New generator and he wanted to run it. You should run your generators periodically anyway, why not power up your solar generator? You are right, cheaper to charge with solar panel.
Wrong that is an M4A1 with the HVSS suspension upgrade which can be installed on almost all the Shermans

That's gotta be such a weird feeling. Seeing something that was top of the line in a time you remember, now in a museum. Can you talk a little bit about what wearing them was like? How was the imagine quality? Were they green or white? Were they grainy? Did they require additional illumination, or were they usable without an ir light? How was the field of view?
Hey I've read this book and will be doing a review on it too over on my channel soon 😁

Much better than British Army Rations 😂
I've heard their rations were better than ours.
I didn't realize they used these in the 1980s I thought it was been phased out by the pvs 7 by then can you tell me more?
We still had PVS 5s in the 82nd Airborne until 85 or 86. The PVS 7s were a monumental improvement.

Here in UT I currently get magtech for $12 after tax. Roughly $2 of saving per 50 rounds is not worth it in my opinion. I would rather save bigger margins with my time for some of my other calibers such as 44 mag, 30-06, 7.62x54, 30-40 Krag etc. some of these going as much as $1-$2.50 per round.
Your opinion is as valid as anyone's.
I do not want to know how you know the difference between chicken ass!
It's raining because you wore that paratrooper shirt! I'm going to head into the Berkshires next month for a couple days. That's beautiful countryside out there buddy!
@@Fredburg4485 If it ain't raining, it ain't training! Enjoy the Berkshires!
As far as I can research the difference between 5.56 and 223 is the seating depth of the bullet which will effect pressure which 5.56 is a bit higher. Also all military cartridges use magnum primers to ensure proper ignition in all weather conditions
That's basically correct, to my understanding. US military uses CCI 41 for its 5.56 primers. There are small dimensional differences between 5.56 and .223 loaded ammunition. My point was that unless you get custom dies for 5.56, the dies from all the major manufacturers are .223.

It's the Spam museum in Austin, Minnesota

My Uncle ate SPAM for 96 days straight in Europe, while Ike, and Montgomery ate steaks, pork chops, and meatloaf. In the 1970s my Mom tried to make so Spam for breakfast and my Uncle wanted to kill her from all the bad memories that came rushing back in.
