Youre not alone, mine (married 1986) lives 1.5 miles away with an unemployed convicted child ubuser felon.. believe me it's not going well for my wife or yours. They put on a good outward appearance but I can tell you in 7 years alot has changed and not gone as she planned. 1. Mr right still unemployed. 2. mr right still hasnt put a ring on it.. 3. None of our kids/grandkids visit her due to her bf.. things done in darkness are brought to the light.. the devil never delivers on his promises but always steals kills and destroys.. there's always consequences to our actions weather good or bad ... I don't focus on her mess anymore and leave it in the hands of God and pray.. without her my life has been peaceful with just my young son.. God is working..

@henryjonkers I wanted to ask if you are your 2nd wife's first husband? Biblically, only death ends the marriage. For example, your first wife died and so your 2nd remarriage was lawful in God's eyes because your 1st wife has been dead (Rom 7:2-3 and 1 Cor 7:39).

I think our marriage was as built on lust not love. That's why it did not last. What God has put together no man shall break apart. I feel this marriage was not of God, because she loved me. She only marry me for comfort and security

The adultery you are referring is mental/emotional adultery (Matt 5:28). Matthew 19:9 is physical adultery. If you are your husband's first wife and he is your first husband, then biblically, only death ends your covenant (Rom 7:2-3). If you remarry while your 1st husband is living, the man that marries you including yourself would be committing adultery (Matt 19:9, Matt, 5:32, Luke 16:18, & Mark 10:12). Hope this helps.

@casseophealejarde-khaizen Exactly..u proved my point..The Adulterer or Adulteresses is having or had immoral sex with someone who is not their spouse because they r not married to that individual..Adultery/ Fornication is interchangeable and it is why it is being used in Mt.19 v9 because it is a Sexual sin..if or when the time comes they marry another while their spouse is living they will commit Adultery.. Why because they have broken God's law..Genesis 2 v24 one man/ woman for life..Adultery/Married..Fornication/ Not married..because it is not their spouse.. Whether it is another married person they r having sex with or a single individual..hope u understand

Fornication is voluntary sexual intercourse between persons not married to each other. If fornication is for married people then what is adultery?

The new versions of the Bible changed the verbiage from fornication to sexual immorality which includes adultery, pornography, beastiality, incest, etc. If you see the KJV which is an older version, it states fornication is the only exemption for divorce. I hope this helps. 🙏

Jesus states that divorcing a mate on the grounds of immorality frees the offended mate to remarry without committing adultery. Paul upholds the idea of permanency in marriage whether it to be a believer or unbeliever, yet gives permission for a believing mate to separate if deserted by an unbeliever.

Romans 7:2-3 only death breaks a covenant marriage.. kjv fornication during betrothal period not niv or any one of the other watered down copies twisted it to sexual immorality..

Breaking saturday sabbath is sin(Isaiah 66:23-24) And eating pork crab oyster shrimp(Isaiah 66:16-17) And doing christmas easter(Deuteronomy 12:30) and praying to statues and cross idols(exodus 20:4)

I desire for them to be saved. They just need to know the Word of GOD and obey God's Word instead of men. I was a former Catholic since little and then I came to faith in Jesus when I was 34. All glory to GOD! HE is faithful and wants people to receive salvation through His Son, Lord Jesus!

Great question. In Matthew 19:9, the only exemption for divorce is fornication and this is prior to the consumation of marriage. This exemption is during the bethrotal period which is similar to modern day engagement. You'll find this scenario in Matthew 1 where Joseph and Mary were bethroted to each other.
