yeah their coulomb counter is a bit weird. My LiFePO4 pack is used as a buffer battery with a CC/CV charger and an DC/AC inverter, essentially like an online (double conversion) UPS. The CV voltage is set to 13.6 V, or 3.40 V per cell. Even though the Daly app allows to set current SoC in the parameters, still, when I set it to 100% when the cells are floating at 3.40 V and no current is flowing into the battery anymore, and then discharge it to say 75% and then recharge back to 3.40 V per cell, the SoC indicator doesn't go up to full 100%, but rather stays at something about 94% and drops further with each subsequent recharge. I however have an active balancer additionally connected, so that may play a role, but I don't think it should be significant, provided that the battery capacity is 600 Ah, or ~7.6 kWh, so whatever's consumed by the balancer during the discharge/charge cycle should be negligible. I may try using a separate shunt based counter to compare the results with what the BMS is showing.

Please explain how someone could exceed the output amperage from the controller? I can see that the battery BMS if you exceed the amperage threshold in your BMS it would reset but the controller is only going to put out what the controller puts out how can you exceed the output amperage on the controller? Thank you

If you remove the orientation part of the receiver, how are you going to point to dish towards satellite? I dont think it is that easy to set orientation manually. I would rather use 12 DC to 48 DC converter rather messing with circuit board.

Why don't you just use a DC to DC converter? You get a 12 volt to 48 volt step up converter

Frinkin crap on Alibaba is unreal. Been looking for some CATL 300Ah cells for delivery to Portugal so following the adverts. Every single supplier offers anything but CATL I literally spent a whole day just filtering out the lying morons... Looking for 48 cells so it's gonna be a small purchase first to make a 24V battery for my 2.4KW Studer Inverter and see what arrives. Hopefully I can confirm genuine using the QR code.

Can u say why battery show always 75% remain battery. In your version is 69 or 70. My battery stop on 75% and not get higgher than 3.45v. Is it full already?

I'm a Victron fan\user. 2 arrays: 1160 ground mount and tilted and 1200w on a dual axis tracker. 300Ah lithium 8' away from 12v 3000 MPII, CERBO with display, Lynx dist 1000, bmv 712smart. Batteries were in float and I manually turned on breaker for water heater.. I know how to setup the assistants for L2.. but how do I wire up from the MPII to the breaker panel to power it automatically..? I'm guess some romex 5' away. Just not sure how to tie into the breaker..?

BTW , I supposed I can stop an electrical vehicule from a distance by switching to "off" thev disch. MosFet with within the wifi app. Could help againt robbery .! But it is may be not so strong , wi noticed, if plug the charger, all Mos turn to "on" . On the other hand if I unplug the charger, all mos switches come back to whete I left them . I dont know which is the master when comm is used is it the software ? Is it the bms ? Hello, that was interesting. I use a balance100 bms. A new brand from Daly. They are using 2.85v as litmit of tension by li Ion cells. There i a regulation/ computation of the Soc wich is ; you enter 100% soc when your battery id full, the first time you use the bms. It is then calculated af 13:32 ter a full cycle charge decharge. I use a Atorch dl24 (4 fans, 600W) to get up to 13A from the 13s6p battery and it cut at 39V or 2.85 on the dl24. On the parameters page there are 4 parameters one I do not get what it does it is : Zeroing the current drift. I think it is may be a way tosubstract the current drift due to impedence of wiring, cintact points, etc. Is it the case ? Best regards

I have just set up one of these JK BMS's. It was supplied without an on/off switch. From previous setups of a JK 48v BMS I know that you can apply a voltage across the P and B terminals to activate the BMS. In the past I had used a 9v PP3 battery to do this but I have just seen a TH-cam video showing a very easy alternative. Set a multimeter to the diode test setting and touch the +VE lead to the B contact and the - ve lead to the P contact. The BMS then starts - quick and easy!

Question. I see users commenting that you can not use the 4-8s model in parallel. How else would you run a 4s 2 in parallel setup? I am lost on this. Help, thanks.

I just use a resiter on the highest cell and bring it down to the lowest, repeat the same process with the others and your cells are balance in half the time.

Wooden frame, roof levelling kit, Sika, and some mastic is a sure way to do this; also adding some rigidity to the area. Similar to putting in roof fans like Maxxfans, etc. Although, I'm sure you know this by now.

I don't like the new screen, it should have the option of having everything on one screen. I will never buy the XS 50, over 500 dollars is way too much money, for that price, I could get a Wakespeed WS500 and be able to charge at 500 amps and it still connects with the Victron Cerbo GX

Just found your channel by searching for the inverter. Have you grounded it and does the protection work on the AC side for loose AC wiring to the chassis.

It's excellent, except for one thing: Why don't you use dielectric spacers between the cells? The aluminum body of each cell is positively charged, you have them firmly pressed together, relying only on the insulating quality of the thin layer the heat-shrink wrap. That, IMHO, is asking for trouble. Just FYI.

I can find 2 other DC - DC Chargers available. One seems to be as efficient and cost as much as the OLD version and another is about Double and only with its proprietary battery banks. If I wanted the best quality, the new version seems to be the best product available. I consider HEAT buildup as the biggest criteria.

Do think this could cause a E-07? tried litterally everything else, changing mobo and controller being amongst them

*It seems that you are using a stock alternator and stock alternator charging leads. These are still , even these days already quite undersized In the old days like in the 70's USA they would use a 20 gauge wire. Thats it! In a 2007'ish I would think about a 6 awg at best. Therefore I would run 4/0 and wire like audio buffs do dubbed the Big 3 or 4 (battery Neg to body ground, another lead Battery Neg to Engine Ground, next from the Pos main alternator stud to your battery Pos and then finally from your alternator ground to from the alternator Ground to Body Ground. (I added a 5th jumper to eliminate resistance in the fuse box with some 2 AWG also Copper Welding Cable on my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan and also 2002 Dodge Caravan and once on a 1998 Dodge Caravan 2.4, on the 2.4 it really livened up the engine because the ground straps from the factory are thin crap.) add a high amp alternator because you need some 30-50 amps to run the engine and most of these alternators being rated at say 110 or 140 amps might only offer the 30 or 35 at idle as the rest is relegated to the engine. While I see you have diesels, a small 4 or 6 cylinder gas engine needs 13-16 DC amps to just run the engine, spark plugs and such, Then add 20-40 amps for the radiator cooler if it is electric. Finally add dash lights and headlights and taillights and headlights draw 55 watts high beam and 45w low beam per headlamp)*

*I really would be interested in seeing this same test repeated in a low SOC condition (below 20%) I have much experience with off grid lead acid batteries and see as the battery gets drained this to be fairly high in a 1-2v range on say just a small 5kw window AC drawing around 400 watts, etc., I ask because in my case I would be running 4/0 Copper welding cable but as long as 20 feet and also with a Millermatic 140 15 amp MIg Welder but also the lower 500 or so watts as well) but partly a concern with Lifepo's and would like this knowledge base prior to make that transition.* *Thank you.*
