The AD-1 is pretty cool but I don't really think it should be used for anything other than anti medium/light builds where you are stuck with a dive bomber slot/can't use an La-9 instead, like Nakhimov and Yorktown 2. I think it is strictly better than F6F HVAR since it fires 2 more of the same rockets, just with the added bomb.

I don't like this "stand alone" dialect. Might as well test them with no planes atp. Running Yorktown without USS is something you will never ever do and is not something Yorktown is balanced around in the first place. if fritz's best team is better than York's best team then she is better and that's the only way for me

I think stand-alone is self-explanatory. It is a ship that can fit in a lot of situations without the need for the fleet to be built around her. So, said ship needs to, on average, perform the best in any random anti-light fleet compared to other CVs. It's like the "Shinano vs Amagi" situation. While Shinano is the core of the best anti-heavy fleet, if you want to try an alternative to the IJN-themed fleet, say a Soviet fleet for example, Amagi can fit in that fleet better than Shinano.

I'm going to ask this out of curiosity since I didn't see you mention this in this video but how does Rumey's 8% damage taken debuff apply to the whole equation?

As always, thank you for the testing. I do have a question: Is Yorktown II (as flagship), Fritz, and Implacable better than Yorktown, Kearsarge, and Implacable against light armor bosses? Also, the last comment I made on a video a few days ago, I said I was having better results with Yorktown fleet vs Amagi CV fleet for heavy. That changed against Strength last month. I think I fixed whatever I was doing wrong. Watching your videos for timing helps. I wish I could get the last 10 bps for the La9. Come on rng. Lol. Once again thank you for the video and info.

And still no patch in sight, she might not be bugged after all, just overestimated. I guess trading a third plane slot for a gun hurt her more than initially thought, it will be interesting to see how she performs against light armor.

I think she's not meant for extreme dmg numbers because i noticed everytime I play her she may not have MVP but she always has the highest number of sinks maybe she's meant for clearing mobs only? like for using ships when farming exp/coins in story chapters she can go solo in the main fleet slot and sweep the mobs

So I want to use Shinano and Hakuryuu in the same fleet as a boss fleet for chap 14 and 15. What is the recommended (or best) gear for both of them? Note: I did try to look up to the ALM tier list but that hasn't updated, yet.

Against Strength, we could probably see wider margins. Anyway, what do you think about Fritz being AA ship for w15? Afaik, she can equip 8 figthers, equip an AA turret and have one of the highest Avi stats in the game. Fritz is also good for suicide bomber because of the ghost CA

Only thing i notice is fritz has her detection gauge above the line for the damage bonus for just the second air strike. But it looks like she is worse than calced. Noticeably so.

Imo Rumey is most likely suited for Polyvalent Mob fleet in OpSi or Campaign and not so much of a boss fleet. I can obviously be wrong here since she has been release only a few days ago. Not every new UR ship has to be made for boss fleet and having new ships for mob fleet is a good direction for azurlane imo
