I’ve been watching your channel ever since I transitioned from dentistry to clinical mental health counseling and you’ve always been consistent throughout!!! Keep going 🎊🎊🎊

In all three categories nobody touching. Idk how you upload consistent and stay on your studies. The community has some cool creators everyone is just so separated. Bonsanera , Student Doctor Wright, and Stephen P Ray are the ones I watch the most consistently. The challenge is really finding creators that continue after school. Most channels die about a year after creators start working and I think that lowers the amount of collaboration and idea sharing

I had to watch because I did my residency there … um … 30 years ago! I wish you could have shown more of the clinic … though maybe it’s not even in the same place. If it is the same place, it has changed a lot which it should because it was dated in the 1990s with a 20 year old color scheme. Think “Brady Bunch!” But more importantly, it looks like they have walls instead of all open which is better for pedo. There were ten in each year (20 pedo residents!) when I was there so undergrads really didn’t do much pedo unless they were really motivated and brought their own patients. I recall I supervised one undergrad who brought in his nephew. He totally knew what he was doing and his nephew was totally cooperative so he didn’t really need any help from me. Otherwise, the undergrads assisted us. In U of Alabama, where I did my DMD, we had a bit more direct treatment of pedo patients because their residency program took less residents and just seemed to get more patients. Also, back in the 90s, even we didn’t get too many patients in the BU school clinic for some reason. We had other rotations (Franciscan Children’s and a clinic on Commonwealth Ave) where we saw more patients. There just wasn’t a lot of traffic in the school pedo clinic. I’m not sure if that’s changed.

Thank you. I didn’t know about this university. I’m dentist for another country. Here the grades are different and put my gpa down. I don’t need to have 100 requirement more. I practiced my profession for more than 10 years and here I graduated from UCLA as RDAEF 1&2 It’s the first time that I’m applying for dental school university . I’m talking the Board now. I would like to now if they request Board before applying and if we can work in any part of US I’m from California. This it’ll be great. Did you see the dental chairs, I’m in shock. Thank you.

So I studied my butt off for a good DAT score only for the anthropologist to say my daddy probably paid for a prep service that predicted all the questions that were going to be on my test…nice👍🏼

I loved my lilac planner in hygiene school! Also correct me if I’m wrong but I saw you have the strap on your loupes that the design by vision comes with. I also have a Nike pair of loupes from them and I used that strap for like a week or two because it was free, but had the same problem of them sliding down. Try replacing it with another lanyard that actually stays in place once tightened. Once I did that I didn’t have any problems with them falling even with my light attached. They still fog sometimes when wearing a mask though. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I have the stats for first year students who got accepted to this school. 70% had bachelors degree. 25% had a masters. The others had no undergrad degree. So, although they say that those pre-requisites are not needed, it is FALSE! They aren’t accepting just anyone! 🤣 Also, it is not true that dental schools require you to have a bachelors. As long as you have all the required science prerequisites you can apply. I know plenty dentist who didn’t have a bachelors.
