Bullying In Medicine: Doctors bullied as often as children (these stats are crazy)
มุมมอง 75610 หลายเดือนก่อน
Bullying in medicine and medical school is A LOT more common than you may think. I used to think that I was one of the few people who was deeply affected by the culture of medicine as it stands today, but it turns out that many junior doctors have experienced bullying in medicine. I too, during my time working as a house officer realized that i don't want to continue this path. And like most I'm not supported in this decision of mine. So ya, i understand the pain and level of frustration of all those who resonate with this video. However the scenario of my life, will definitely take steps towards my interest. We all must make plan, be brave and take the leap.

I’m only studying medicine for my parents. No, they didn’t force me, they actually encouraged me and my sisters to choose whatever we want, my sisters naturally chose whatever they wanted, but I wanted to make my parents happy ig by choosing medicine since I see the majority of parents wanting their kids to be doctors, so I was like “yeah why not, let me do this maybe my parents want this but don’t want to say it”. I personally don’t care for college, I did want to be a lawyer once, but then I just stopped caring. Now I’m studying medicine.

The problem is they discuss how nurses are constantly bullied by doctors and other patients but no one discusses how much doctors are bullied by nurses and nothing is ever done about it when they are the ones who went to school the longest and are the ones who make the most money and to be honest are usually the kindest and easiest to deal with in hospital settings I feel it stems back the mean girls from high school bullying the smart loner kid except the mean girls are now the nurses and the smart loner kid is now a successful doctor it’s all about jealously and narcissism

Hi, for what it's worth I've met tons of women over my life that thought better knowledge, money, working longer hours for more mone, or friends will give them purpose; however in the end as they got older none of these things gave them the true purpose that they found fullfilling. What they regret though, and this is just my experience from what they've said, is not creating a family and having kids while they were in their prime years where having kids was possible. On the other hand I've met plenty of women that dont have much finantially, no big house, no amazing career but they have kinds and a family and they are fullfilled, moreso than those that have all these 'things'. If you think about it this is because we're not here to build buildings, rocket ships, cars, etc, we're here to pass on our legacy and knowledge to the next generation of ourselfs and this gives true purpose. This is why you dont see videos of women with a husband and large family making videos titled "ya, I'm still looking for my true purpose". My advise, you're really pretty so should not have any problem finding a guy so dont waste your prime years stuck in an office, behind a computer or chasing money to pay for that next vacation, instead find a partner you can start a life and family with and that will give you true purpose in this life which will carry on for many generations to come.

Hello dear.I am happy I came across your TH-cam channel.I am a medical student, but I had to repeat the year, which would require me to pay another tuition...my parents are still trying to raise funds for me, but my mind tells me it is impossible...They suggested that I go to a different, less expensive medical school. However, after three years, I really do not want to endure the stress of medical school again 😢. I am really considering a different field other than medicine. I need some advice
