Anyone buying ANYTHING coming from Helium Deploy or any "HELIUM" company don't do it. The projects they support are all scams , just move on, buy Bitcoin or just regular stocks and sit on them for 5 years .

It’s hilarious how this is sadly the story every time. Almost ordered some back in the summer that had a long delivery date and glad I didn’t. It’s the same gimmick. They purposely have large deliver windows to prevent charge backs and also not overload the system too fast

Hey Justin, Look into Dabba WiFi, JunkCoin, SkyX, Nubila, Solana Seeker phone, Wayru, and Entropy but Entropy doesn’t have the best team and community. Besides Entropy others are pretty much in beta, JunkCoin is out of beta by a few days but there is no liquidity yet. All of these depin projects cost $15 to $300 to get involved in.

I'm a truck driver. I love this thing I've made more money then I paid. I'm definitely happy with mine.

I use an extra iPhone for my side facing camera. it stays in the car all the time with it open to the hivemaper app. I also have it set to upload images via cellular. I rarely touch the phone and it's constantly uploading images as it downloads them from camera. No issues either with front facing. I'm pretty good at keeping the app running on top and downloading images to phone. I bring phone in my home and it usually just takes a few mins to load via my wifi. my front facing camera paid off my minivan. saved me 40 monthly payments on my auto loan. I drive a lot since I'm a delivery driver

It really isnt that tedious, just keep your phone connected the whole time, and connect on monday again to download any extra images and upload before the Tuesday end. Roi can be couple months if you drive enough and on different roads.

ROVR I have mine velcro’d on my dashboard. Works great, no RTK issues. Only thing I don’t like, this is like natix phone in the window, summer this will not work as phone will get too hot. So not great idea. Until newer version comes out, hope its cheaper than they are talking I would gladly do it

Don't get into a market that knows will change significantly. The change to wifi was known since January since CBRS was going to be phased out including areas that will give you a higher earning status based on foot traffic. Putting it on your sis-laws-house is not recommended for offloading data from other cell carriers. A business with higher foot traffic is what a $250 indoor device is for. Look up faithful parchment cricket on helium's planner and you will see it earning $90/day. Do your own research before investing on hardware that will no longer be compatible with the current state of helium crypto. BTW, Xnet is not switching off cbrs, they've always had the higher end antennas that still work and earn but their process to get carriers to approve your location (based on foot traffic) takes longer than helium. Their rewards tracking is based off an xcel sheet that has to be manually written on how much offload carrier data a hotspot has passed/earned. The safer route on how things are changing at Helium is to join their discord and other markets that talk about changes and opinions on new hardware. Helium is looking to launch new wifi 7 devices that have a longer distance to reach more cell phones. Obviously, it's not like CBRS but more towards finding a way to please these cell carriers on reaching more customers via wifi.

Im glad i got my refund when they did the big excuse of update camera rug pull. Got my money back last year. No camera updates for Q$ so they said it will come out. Dont feel sorry for you all. Waste of money.

I’ve been running a fleet of 12 and I’ve paid them off 100 times over. Still making good money with them. My drivers are making around 50 bucks a week. It was a lot better but hey it’s free money. I also ordered 11 more last Dec . They were supposed to be out beginning of December. They have started shipping some out, but it’s probably gonna be January in the middle of January before I finally get them. The new units are supposed to be paying a lot more out but it’s free money the new ones will be nice. The new ones will do everything on their own.also I don’t run side view cameras anymore. Anything about 30 mph does not pay anything for a while now

I have a ROVR Tarantula. Ignore the statement that says the Tarantula must be mounted externally. It doesn’t. I have yet to mount mine externally yet continue to receive a ROVR connection rating of “Wonderful”. You will want to use a separate phone, one that’s dedicated solely to ROVR. You’ll also need a data plan. The data plan can be from the dedicated phone or tethered from another data source. But the ROVR must be connected to the Internet in order to work. I also use NATIX, another dash cam app. It too requires its own dedicated phone if you plan to use your phone for anything beyond a dash cam or GPS.
