In this episode, we target halibut while fishing the west end of beautiful Catalina Island. The morning started off a little slow, but before we knew it, the fishing turned on! Not only did we score a few quality, legal size halibut, but also a couple of tasty rock fish! The day also included two fish stealing seals that added a little extra excitement to an epic day on the water!

This was one of those unexpected days where the fishing was on fire all morning long! And… just to add a little icing on the cake, the ocean conditions were spectacular with warm water, light winds, and beautiful skies! It was non-stop calico and sand bass action from beginning to end.
