Finishing up the mirror installation, putting the computer back in the car, and puting in the new injector. The car does have a exhaust leak on the hot side so ill be tracking that down as well. Thanks to @latemodelrestoration for the parts.

Excellent video, thanks for sharing this and it is great that you captured a few key issues in your 7 min piece that others didn’t show or emphasized in their much longer videos (I.e. fuel line covers, tamper resistant torx 40 etc). I have the dash lights on and “mentally prepping” to tackle this knock sensor job this fall! Most likely rodent damage to the harness in my case, but once through with the colonoscopy why not spend the exorbitant cost of them OEM knockers and the harness (good reminder on the spark plugs as well) and I plan to add steel wool and ample rodent tape in there to hopefully prevent ever having to go back in there… PS Hope your shoulder is fully recovered by now. I constantly bug my son to go easy on those 200lb plus bench presses ;)

Like the video. You know the limit on that FJ is 5K lbs. Your boat's empty weight is ~3800 lbs, the trailer is ~1300 lbs.That is over 5K lbs. If you put a full tank of gas in it, that's another ~450 lbs.y the time you put your cooler, life vests, and other equip you are probably close to 6K lbs. Love your FJ, and by the looks of it, it has a lot of other added weight on it, so you are probably well over the gross vehicle weight limit.
Thanks for the comment, and yes, also well aware of the weight of the boat and the trailer we don’t fill the boat all the way up to keep some of that weight off of it but yeah, no matter how you skin the cat I’m over that limit thankfully I’m not pulling the boat too far. Thankfully, my FJA is far from stock, upgraded gears, and springs to help manage that weight but yes, we are overweight.

Congratulations on your beautiful boat. We love our 222 FSH Sport E. I cannot say enough positive things about the JBP steering enhancements. Unbelievable difference in low speed handling. I made the same mistake you did with the purchase of my forward anchor. Hopefully future purchasers of Yamaha boats will watch this video. There are other anchors besides Yamaha's that will fit. JBP has the Fortress FX-7 Anchor, and there are others out there. I measured the mount points in the anchor locker and then went shopping...the second time. Enjoy. Fair winds and Following seas.
I agree we absolutely love our boat! We heard that jet boats were hard to handle but that couldn’t be more wrong. Super easy to drive and dock even at low speeds!
I’m here in Destin with an outboard motor about the same size. How difficult is it to dock at a public dock? My outboard is very easy to dock.
We were worried about trying a jet boat due to stories we’ve heard, but the boat is an absolute dream. Extremely easy to drive/ manage even at low speeds and around the dock.
How do you like the FSH? Can you get offshore a mile or two OK? Looking at getting one myself. It will be my first boat. Thanks.
We absolutely love the boat super easy to drive/ manage even at low speeds! My only gripe is that it doesn’t have a way to trim the motors not sure why that wasn’t carried over from the jet skis as well

My Fj is rated at 4700lbs the boat on the trailer is 4900lbs. Pry a few hundred pounds heavier when loaded up.
is that hooked up to your rear light fixture? that is what it looks like but not sure if you connected a different one that looks like that:)

try an easier method get two long dock lines bow and stern hand the lines to her back the boat down the dock until the wheel well is sunk boat will float she walks the dock lines back down the dock and ties off the stern first you dont gota get out the FJ and she doesn't have to clime the trailer ( By walking the boat down i mean she physically walks down the dock and she uses the stern line to move the boat while holding the bow line in other hand to keep boat from spinning out )

Man wish I would have seen y’all to say hello. Me & Gina along with several other friends were there for a few days & for the Blue’s show. I seen our red Nissan Pro 4x in the drone footage along with my red FZR. It surly was a big crowd like always. Looked like y’all had a blast as well. Hell we even had dinner at Junana’s to kill time and still wasn’t off the water till 8:30pm. Sorry to hear about the trailer situation. Love the content, thanks for sharing!

Yeah had to just miss y’all. Took off early with the majority of the Jetskiers. Early start no doubt, I end up anchoring about 200’ or so back from them directly behind Flounders. Had our friend on their new 2024 252S behind my 15’ FZR. Great time end result, but made for a very long day in the sun.

What’s top speed and comfortable cruise for that boat ?looking together one it’s a beautiful boat
So far we have seen 45 mph but we cruise at about 30 to 35 depending on sea state! It’s an awesome boat. We absolutely love it. We will be making a video here shortly about some of the issues we have had, though once we get the boat back from the dealer.
Really enjoy your content. We vacation in Pensacola every year for the week of the Blues. We are on the beach and stay in The Beach Club condos, it was the largest tower in your video. I hope to trailer my boat down over the next few weeks for some beach time out in the boat. I think we will try and get out around the pass. Funny thing, I live in Destin and been looking for a grill lately for my Yamaha JetBoat and came across your video. I like it. But no fishing rod holders on my 242X. Gotta figure another way.
Actually they make a mount so that the grill will work with the table pole that comes with the boat
