I have around -,12 myopia, which one do tou recommend doc? Thanks in advance
I had vitrectomy surgery recently for stubborn floaters. It has been one week I start seeing new floaters now. Old ones are gone. What do I do ? Will they go away ?
That's a bit strange. You need to talk to your surgeon. I don't know what happened during surgery.
That was very informative. Looking forward to my surgery with you soon.
Thanks you for information doctor ! My question is different My eye is 8 can it treat please I need to know about thes
I can't get friends My life is boring
Can treat my eyes -8 and I'm 25 years I hate my glasses I can't see with out glasses I'm thinking about pass away
Whats your experience with Teleon IOLs ( Lentis Comfort) Bifocal sir? In my region they offer Teleon and PanOptic. I may consider Teleon on 1 eye and the other Panoptic. Whats your opinion Sir?
The Teleon is not available in the USA, but the mechanism is similar to another lens that is and it should be OK. But I don't have first hand experience with it.
They have just recently goot bothersome for me too.
Sorry to hear. Give it time.
Hey doc, does digestive and gut issues can cause this? and actually bromelain is good for the eye i guess
No obvious connection.
Dr. Cohen, what are the machine the doctor office will use to measure my eye to figure out the power of the multi focal implant lenses?, I heard they are using IOL master 700 ? Is this machine alone enough to get the perfect measurements? Thank you for your very informational video.
Good question! It is.
I'm about to lose my mind because of clear floater in both of my eye that is increased every year . I can see even more waves of small floatees when squeezing my eye and look at sky.
Same bro
I understand your frustration.
I'm 52 with an astigmatism. I use 1 contact in left eye n nothing in other. No cataracts. Would I be a good candidate n how long will it last
It could be, depending on other factors in the eyes. The distance will stay stable until you develop cataracts.
@doctorilancohen my current eye doc says I shouldn't and that I'd still need readers. Just wanted to know should I seek a second opinion and do you have any recommendations as I live in Dallas area
Great video and information,, never had floaters till two days ago it's like a cobweb in the middle of my eye keeps moving around been to the eye doctor wants me to come back in a week i'm Hoping they kinda just break up and go away..
Follow up with your doctor.
I have a question, how do you explain the generations of people who lived well into old age with good vision before sunglasses were invented?
Even a better question. How about the ones that lived before glasses were invented?
BROMELAIN is another solution. Eat pineapples 🍍 💥💥💥
Thank you.😊❤
Great advice about the grid.
Very important information and education. Thanks.
What is with ICL Lens in the eye sharpest vision ?
20/20 depending on the health of retina.
I can’t find the link to the supplement
So what's the cure?
There are effective treatments for both.
I have cataracts and bifocals and tourettes
Consider cataract surgery.
Hi doctor nice to meet you, ima à women from moroco iam 39 years old il have problem With eyes floters iam myopes did you go morocco for patient
Dr. Cohen, What are the sources for Lutein and xanthein? Can supplements be used by normal people? How often and how much?
Best sources are green leafy vegetables: Kale, spinach, collard greens, broccoli, peas, lettuce, and brussels sprouts. At least a serving a day.
No advice on nutrition, only temporary treatment.
I recently go through SMILE surgery. My left eye vision is not clear as compare to right ..can i repeat the operation or not? Because i thik in pre operative checkups they written .25 less than left eye and operate .25 less than the right eye thats why the vision in right eye is not sharp as compare to right.
SMILE cannot be repeated. They can enhance the vision by LASIK after SMILE if necessary.
Thank you for your informative video. I have had floaters since my late twenties and I am now in my 60s. I have just got used to them over the years, but last August, I developed new shaped floaters and flashing lights. Last week, I developed a very large floater (the size is about half of my eye). I decided to again just get on with it, but I still have regular flashes. I would add that I also have keratoconus, which has been quite stable for about 40 years. It is the size of the new floater which bothers me. It's in the same eye as the flashes.
Please see you eye doctor immediately to rule out a retinal detachment.
Thank you for the info. Can you do a video on cause and symptoms of cataract? What will cause a small cataract to increase in size?
Thankyou foctor
Hello Doctor, About 2 or 3 days ago my mother started to see floaters in her right eye. She is 55. I’m really worried about her. What should I do?😢
She needs a dilated eye exam ASAP.
and its itchu
my nail is in my eye
its in back on my eye
damn fly got that ancient 4090
What defines "late stage" keratoconus? I.e. what are the parameters for when tgprk does not work?
It depends on the visual acuity that is obtainable with glasses as well as the total value of the keratometry. Values greater than 60 consistent with advanced Keratoconus.
Thank you. I am getting this procedure in 4 weeks. My keratometry is 48 but don't have great vision with glasses
He is selling the stuff 😆🤣
No. We do not sell anything or receive any sort of commissions from the sales of anything. I have provided this video, purely for advice.
just "jump" Patricia, working for another channel are we?
I look up your link Sadly it doesn’t work
I am 30 , at age of 29 i did lasik surgery, after that pain and floaters in my both eyes
I'm sorry to hear that, but there are no known correlations between LASIK and floaters.
👍
I had laser surgery two days ago for two holes found in retina. My floaters are still present. I was.hoping they would fade but they are exactly the same. Retina specialist said it.Will take several months. Not sure what to do.
The lasers that they do for holes in the retina is different than the one that they do for floaters.
I strugle with this and my eye's are sensitive to light
Sensitivity to light is due to different reasons than floaters. Please see your eye doctor.
I been reading about lasik and it’s not good one young man commited suide after the lasik and many are sick and going blind and dry eyes
What about the floaters in the toilet?
I looked up the eye supplement for floaters a couple months ago. And instead of buying it, I already had those supplements (listed on their bottle as ingredients) around the house. So I added them into my supplement routine. I would say my floaters are about 50% more faint at this point. So there are no strong contrasting "lines" of floaters.
That sounds encouraging, happy for you. What were.the specific vitamins?
@@SandraDawe-nw1nw L-Lysine and grape seed extract
There is a link in the description
Thanks for sharing!! Very glad that this worked out for you
Sir please make a video on how to get rid of dilated pupil.... please 🥺
Do you mean permanently dilated?
How and why did that happen? How you treat it depends very much on the cause.
I got experience … it will gone after I started exercise …must exercise regularly to allowed blood flow to the eye because some floaters happen because less blood to the eye
Floaters are not an issue of blood flow. When you exercise the motion in your eyes causes the gel to change its position as well as the position of the floaters. That's why you see them when you exercise.
In my case it’s because of high BP… I didn’t realise it .. once the BP normal after I exercise , the floaters reduce a lot and almost none
Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
Another doctor on here mentioned choline and inositol methionine combination
Not heard of that before.
I've had them for a while now in both eyes a bit annoying sometimes but not sure what to do
One of the little imperfections of life.
I saw 2 eye doctors over the last year and they both told me there's no treatment for them. Glad there are some honest doctors like you out there.
I was told no treatment also
I'm sorry about that. There are definitely treatments available. Not everyone should have them.
