Really enjoyed this one. What a beautiful country and so clean! I would like to retire here. I love the wood carvings and the lore of them. High up in the mountains it seemed you were so far away from everything. It was so quiet and peaceful. Loved all the animals too. I don't think your video would be complete without a trek off the path 😆

Kinda jealous with this one. Looks fantastic! Also, would love to see a compilation of all the shots where you had to run back after walking away from your camera. 😂 As someone who has filmed themselves walking many times, i know exactly what you had to edit out every time. 😂

Ah I got scared when you fell over! I was also a little worried/impressed that you had those far away camera shots on the steep part so you had to go back and get the camera. Thanks for the video! I like how you always share fun history with us. And all the talk about everyone being rich led me to check Wikipedia's page for the countries with the highest standard of living and apparently the winners there are Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.

This is exactly what I wish the Travel Channel would be. So refreshing, relaxing, and informative. There was a TV show called Lonely Planet there or American public broadcasting I loved. BBC or PBS in the USA needs to pick you up. I'd suggest, in Europe, Finland, as it seems to be the least famous Scandanavia, or worldwide, Uruguay or Newfoundland Canada.

I think you should to go to South Korea. Lots of diverse places to visit like Jeju Island, Busan, Gyeongju.

Any journey that begins with "almost impossible to get lost" nearly guarantees you are going to get lost. Great footage. Beautiful country, I went there when I was stationed in England and went to Germany for a business trip. I had a friend stationed nearby and we went accross the border and hiked on the very trail you are on. I really don't remember what part, but it was amazing. Congratulations on the achievement!!

I took my biggest trip ever earlier in the month to Japan. So many times as I was walking around away from the touristy areas with my backpack on, I thought, all those hours watching Matthew has me ready for this. Especially when I got lost in a wooded area behind a shrine in Narita. Part of my trip was climbing Mt Fuji. When I got to the shack I slept at short of the summit to rest for the hike to sunrise, I bought a Coke and a candy and had my own little pop and a bar about 3200 meters up on the side of Mt Fuji. Thank you for your journeys and the ways they inspire as much as they entertain.
