I worked with babies in the NICU and I can't tell you how many babies will stare at a part of the ceiling and start smiling and interacting with spirits they see. One real takeaway from this is changing how we deal with people in comas, or other forms of consciousness, is that we treat them like we are really with them as living beings still aware at some level even if we can't see it.

When I was nine years old, I had a newspaper delivery route. My route took me to two "convalescent" facilities. They were old people's long term care, usually for those who lacked family or at least family who could care for them. The was back in 1969-71. Some of the things I saw in these facilities were deeply disturbing to me. It was traumatizing and permanently shaped my outlook on aging and dying. I made a pact with myself back then that I would die on my own terms given the opportunity. Today at 63, my perspective hasn't changed. Particularly in America we, as a society, seem to have lost our perspective of the dignity of death. As someone approaches the stage of dying we kick into high gear and spare no expense to eek out every last moment of the heart monitor beeping and equate that beeping to life even when it is often only preserving suffering or stripping away dignity. It should be a fundamental right to die as we wish, to die well.

There's no need for anybody to be afraid. I've been doing my own investigations during my life of 67 years today. Everybody with a healthy brain can know that consciousness must be the most fundamental element in creation. How? Well if something preceded the material universe, what was it? Some people say there was nothing. But they don't understand that 'something' can not come from 'nothing'. You see, nothing is totally abolute. There is no location to nothingness. Nothing itself isn't anything at all. So how would it bring forth something? But consciousness can perfectly exist alongside material nothingness. Consciousness takes no space, no particular location and also not a period of time. None of these. So it can perfectly exist without a material cosmos, can't it? That brought me to the conclusion, that the entire material cosmos exists exclusively in consciousness. We are tiny parts so to speak, of the great consciousness, That I rather name God. We are all truly his children. But I can see this must be a hard note to crack when everything, including your intuition is telling you the other way around. But if you want to give this a chance, keep goïng back to the moment before there was anything at all. To before the BigBang if you will. What was there? I think there was a consciousness spirit experiencing its presence. I think with this discription we are very close to the spirit of God the creator. To draw a somewhat crude line, we can also say that ''material is an illusion'' and that conscienceness is indeed the most fundamental element of creation. That's strange, isnt it? Matter is an illusion and our body is part of it, even if we experience the total fulness of it and all its laws of nature. That's what I found.for myself people. Pls. Take care of yourselfs and of eachother. Peace.

Dealing with grief is so personal and different to every person. After losing my wife i was seeing a grief counsellor, who gave be a book to read. She had no understanding the emotions, loss, confusion of how i was feeling. I grieved badly for eight years, it was only when my wife communicated with be from the spirit, asking if i loved her, to keep a promise and that was now time to move on. Which i did. We always will have our quite moments, anniversaries etc when we will express our tears, love etc.

The comments around self-withholding of food and water in the days or weeks prior to dying are very interesting. DRY FASTING can allow one to experience now the euphoria and intense clarity of mind while minimising the food digesting, processing and elimination stresses on the body. Dry fasting means consuming no food or water for a period of up to 7 and 10 days at the far end of the experience.

“You can’t be running towards the finish line and imagining that’s where the secrets are or thats where the solutions are; solutions are a dime a dozen. The willingness to learn the troubles is exceedingly rare. So I refuse the seduction of offering you know goof ball half baked one size fits all solutions for any of the dilemmas that we have. But I do know that a willingness to begin in good faith with an acknowledgment of things as they are is utterly mandatory for your humanity to mobilize on behalf of a better day. Of this I have no doubt.”

Was talking to my brother in law 2 years ago that i think about death while everyone thinks about life. I told him when we go to bed each night and get up in the morning, aren't we another day closer to death? The older i get time is more important than anything else. I removed myself from pretty much everyone bc i stopped being a people pleaser and working on myself. So glad stumbled into your channel. Thanks for your work and time.
