Gabrielle Elise Jimenez is an author, Hospice Nurse and End of Life Doula who has been at the bedside with many terminal patients who choose to end their life by their own hand and in their own time, now that it is legal in California. We discuss the many-stepped criteria, the practical steps, the circumstances surrounding patients that get them to this place, and the care for the families who support their decision.
