This is the exact feeling I had for the last years. It just feels so weird drawing digitally and nothing looks right, and it always ends in tears and despair. However, I want to point out that it's not true that there is less comparison. I compare my art all the time to other artists, even tho they are digital pieces and not mine. And also, people only value traditional art when it's VERY good. Digital art is very much favored by spectator over traditional, even if they don't realize it. How many traditional artists do you see on social media? Not that much. And it's not because they don't exist, it's because digital arts is more liked.

I'd buy the Creative cloud if the price of the basic programs like Premiere, Photoshop, Media Encoder, After Effects was from 50 to 150 dollars but for one time payment. It's still expensive because it's professional software but you don't have to pay a subscription.

I only use two Adobe apps, Photoshop, and Illustrator. So that's why I'm pirating it. I shouldn't have to fucking pay $35 a month to use 2 fucking apps for my own use, not a career.
