It is good to see women graduate with Mathematics or Physics or Statistics or Engineering or Architecture degrees . I majored in Mathematics and Computer Science not because I love the subjects or was very good at them. I studied them because I wanted to do something that few women do. It just made me feel accomplished.
I was taking a break in between brilliant lessons.
your diss looks beautiful
Congrats 🎊 good luck ❤
Thanks a lot!! 🥹
I looked at courses for all years. Nice. But it is better to study mathematics in combination with computer science. Because some approaches are significantly different in solving, for example, computer graphics between mathematics and computer science. I knew mathematicians who could not solve computer graphics problems very well, because they did not know the computer science fundamentals. But studying mathematics is nice :)))
Name of the tablet you use?
I use the iPad Pro 2020, 11 inch 😅
Hello, What Kind of Job Do You Want to Do After This ? Do you Want to Go Into Learning Further or Teaching or Data Analytics or Algorithm Designer or Finance or Economics or Something Else ?
Quantitative Finance for now, I actually have just started a graduate role as a quant developer! 🫡
@@ioanaroman2947 Wow Nice, You are so Intelligent. I am Really Good at Calculations ( Percentages, Ratios Proportions etc. ) and Middle School Math. But Higher Level Math Like Calculus, Differentiation, Integration etc. Was Not My Cup of Tea. Maybe because My Teachers Were Not upto the Mark. But So Happy For You 🤗

Is the fourth year optional? also what are the benefits if u continue after ur 3rd yr?
Your are brillant not us.....
very well spoken id love to collaborate with people like you as someone interested in quantum physics
I never even heard about random matrix theory, but a while ago I was messing around on PyTorch while learning linear algebra and I noticed randomly generated matrices seemed to have "consistent" eigenvalues. I chalked it up to the law of large numbers, and didn't bother to investigate further as it seemed like I would end up deriving something obvious. Does this relate at all to random matrix theory?
TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF!!!
Congrats!! 👏 🎉
Thanks for your great vids🎉
I am your new subscriber currently I am learning Abstract Algebra can you please tell me how I get videos lectures of reputed Universities for free on that particular topic.
You are very good at explaning i like it.
Thank you, much appreciated!! 🤞🫡
That's great 👍 , and congratulations to you 🎉🎉🎉.
Thanks a lot!! 🫡😌
Started my own youtube channel. Love studying and explaining stuffs
Good job, that’s amazing!! 🤩 glad to see more people doing this!!
Applied mathematics Booooooo Boo. 👎
Based
But you can’t deny the inherent utility it has
Random matrix theory 😢
Universality laws are too satisfying though 🫠
Hi Ioana. Then, tell us about your transition from academia to industry. It would also be interesting to make videos about the industry. For example, which Oxford course is helping you the most in your work. Did the Oxford networks help you get the job? If we, Brazilians, can study and work in industry at the same time, what would your tips be? Finally, an excellent video with lots of learning.
PS> Learn Solidworks.
Congrats! Did you learn, or were you exposed to Bézier Curves at Oxford? Secondly, if not, are they addressed on Brilliant? Thanks! Again, Congrats!
God....I wish Chemical Engineering and Material Science Engineering students would do what you did with you ACTUALLY covering your 4 year degree. You're helping soooo many poor people that compensate with grit and willpower the lack of money to attend a college and choose a diy approach of studying a hard field like math. You are like a Robin Hood of higher education. And as opposed to MIT and other universities who offer so called free education you actually covered all the years of your degree not just the first year.
In the defense of those Ivy League universities, they do offer a lot of educational content online for free.
Congratulations, Ioana!❤🎉 I'm proud of you!❤🎉
Thank youuu!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
UR GREAT❤

Never too old in my opinion, let alone at 25!
Hello!I am a Sec 4 Alevel student.I am choosing my JC subject combination.Is H2 further maths compulsory for Application,or H3 is enough.Thanks a lot!
I just love the way you romanticise maths, it inspires me, can't wait to enroll for maths later down the line
Glad to hear it! Good luck with your maths studies, sounds very exciting!! 🥹
What mathematics is that?
Love it when people share their academic experiences, enthralling!
So surprised! Definitely fun!
I just started my PhD in astrophysics last month. I wanted to get an iPad but was worried because of the mixed experiences I heard. Your video helped and I think it's been a positive change. The paperfeel glass guard, I don't even notice it.
Glad it could help!! Best of luck in your studies!! 🤞
MAT today🫠
Good luck to us!
To say that _Understanding Analysis_ will make you a master at analysis is an overstatement. I think it’s a fantastic intro to the subject, but nothing much beyond that.
Can you upload a video about (machine learning)
No “Mathematical Methods” by Boas?
Great advice!
I need a top tier lists of books for abstract algebra, linear algebra. Do you have any video about thoose subjects?
I don't remember why but when I was a student I found Carathéodory's extension theorem so incredibly beautiful.
Almost forgot about that one! Very true indeed, that one’s a gem!
Fantastic💟
I know it’s an old video.. my experience with using Goodnotes is great .. but there are 2 things for which I went back to paper 1. While I am doing maths or any other topics where I need the reference of what I wrote just few lines above or just even 1 line above becomes a bit unnatural to reconcile. Go to top -> find it -> remember it -> and then come to the spot and continue.. do this over and over again if you forget it .. I get it that you could zoom out or copy the content using lasso tool .. but it just does not match with the experience of using paper. Where you get all contents and you can turn the page and write things while referencing what you wrote above or even previous pages. 2. The experience of writing on paper is just different.. I did not get that by writing on glass..
Congratulations dear Loana I hope be good luck always..
Dear Loana recently I was introduced to your channel please make more videos for us, definitely it would be enjoyable and interesting.
Thanks, much appreciated!! ☺️ will definitely make more soon!!
