Discovering Gluten-Free Options at EPCOT: My Experience
I recently spent a day eating and drinking “around the world” at EPCOT in Florida and had a great time! I was able to find gluten free options in just about every country there and everything I did eat was fantastic. If you’re unsure if you can eat gluten free at EPCOT, this video is for you!
Note: I used the term “gluten allergy” instead of celiac disease when I was at EPCOT becuase restaurants get more training on allergies and tend to understand that term better in order to make the proper accommodations. Definitely make sure you are using whichever terminology you are more comfortable with to make sure your needs are met!

I have been celiac since 2009. I have traveled a ton but have an added layer of being vegetarian. On flights I have always ordered the Jain meal and as long as I don't have the nann bread I haven't had any issues. Much more flavour then the Gluten free meals I have seen. Also if I'm feeling unsure on my travels Indian food is my go to for safe. As long as you know the curries that are safe it is a good go to when feeling overwhelmed.

I’d really wanted to visit Amsterdam but had assumed eating out as a coeliac there would be difficult. Thank you so much for making this video, I’m really excited to visit there now! Food is such a big part of experiencing a new country and so it is hard to feel like you’re missing out on that, so I really love it when there are gluten free versions of traditional food available! I’ve only just discovered your channel and as a coeliac who also loves travel but gets anxious about the food aspect of it, I’ll be closely following all of your gluten free finds 😁

Central and south america countries are really hard for celiacs. I have recently been in Colombia for 15 days and it was reaaaaally hard for me. I was expecting to find a lot of gluten free food, thinking about the use of corn in every meal that they have... But at the end they also use wheat and the problem is that they don't know the disease and not even the word "gluten"... So even if they offer you gluten free food it will be contaminanted. I was tired of ask for gluten free food and being answered as "you mean vegetarian food?". Off course I was contaminated several times and I returned to my country really sick... I wans't able to book airbnbs in my travel because I was with 15 more people, but if you travel to this type of countries, be sure to book an airbnb in case you need a kitchen.

Yes this! I took a long haul flight a couple months ago and mannnn do I wish I booked a gluten free meal…it was tricky trying to be so careful (I’m celiac but not 100% avoiding…I know bad but I’ll get there someday) They give you SO MUCH BREAD on flights! I never realized that before being celiac. I think another thing I was worried about was if the gluten free meal would be something I would eat (I don’t really eat fish so I would hate for that to be the option) Do they give you a preview of what will be available for the meal? - Thanks for showing all this!

Thank you for this! Last time I went to Amsterdam (in 2019) I hadn’t yet been diagnosed with celiac but was already experiencing bad digestive issues (ate a crepe (with gluten) and had to RUNNNN into a restaurant to use their bathroom😅) When I travel again I want to enjoy my food while still being careful😁

Great video! I've never thought of just using social media search bars to find restaurants. I'm totally comfortable finding restaurants that are celiac friendly in the US. But when you're in another country how much of a barrier has language been when trying to find restaurants and have your questions answered?

I had a girlfriend ones who has celiaki. All i wanted was to find a cure for it and I think I finally did. Feel honored im sharing it here exklusivly 🥹 In the future they might be able to solve this. If you take the 9th gene of the 9th generation of A same specifik bee guard. Then that will create to a begining a temporary protection but if lucky in the long term permanent protection against celiaki 😍🪬🌈💓 Here is the kod™ bicdUTl9thJd1bhRs-u

@@MidnitePanther That is just not true. There are plenty of people outside of the US with celiac disease. Gluten is gluten everywhere in the world and thus is harmful to anyone with celiac disease to consume, regardless of where are they eating it. According to a study from 2018, celiac disease was actually more prevalent in Europe than North America: celiac.org/main/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Global-prevalence-of-celiac-disease_GGH_2018.pdf
