In this video, we talk about the strongest of the strongest legendary Pokemon and of each of them had signature abilities. These abilities are going to be absurdly powerful. Fight me if you have a problem with that. I gathered most of the background footage from False Swipe Gaming.

You know gamefreak was a very small team with a low budget back then right this is way to hard for them to have possibly implemented in the original games
This is a good idea but there are a ton of frustrating mistakes . Why avoid duplicates? The Kanto gym leaders aren’t just type specialists, they are more specific than that. Koga *never* uses the Nido lines because he’s the Ninja dude who uses the muk/weezing lines like that’s his thing. Misty should have two Starmie. Blaine shouldn’t have Arcanine. Etc.
Are you flippin? Giga drain and Psychic on the first gym?
While I have a negative impression towards people that are bashing on GF for not doingthe gym scaling, I love this video. The only thing I question, with only 151 Pokémon in the dex, why are people against species overlap, Giovanni and Brock have used Onix, and Blue overlaps with multiple Pokémon with gym leaders.
I was expecting Mistys Seaking to get replaced by Gyarados by the time she’d be the 8th gym leader.
This maybe an unpopular opinion, but I see nothing wrong with Misty having Blastoise, Erika having Venusaur, and blaine having Charizard or even Brock having Rhydon
While I think this idea is a lot of fun and video is well done for the most part, I think you gave out evolutions too quickly. A Nidoqueen at Gym 2 seems like much. And Alakazam at Gym 3 would be stupid busted;.
I feel like a lot of the pokemon who hold off their evolution for the next gym badge probably should evolve at that point. After like level 30 regardless of type tlan unevolved pooemon is just so weak it wouldn't challenge the player at all.
6:27 YOURE PLAYING FRLG
Yeah but FrLg are faithful to Gen 1 to the point where no Johto/Hoenn pokemon exist in the game at all until you get the National Dex, even blocking evolutions that should take place. Plus it doesn’t make since for me at least as to why a rock the leader should use Steelix. Maybe for a post game rematch, he should finally evolve the Onix into Steelix, but besides that, it shouldn’t be done
3:51 damn, Erika has been making gains recently
That's a lot of self-destructs lol
Don’t ever disrespect Fearow again 🤦🏻♂️
Also Hypno wtf you saying 🤦🏻♂️
Castform NEEDS a sand form, its just criminal for it not to have it
I really like this video! I hope you do this with the other generations too
I really like this concept. It’s like the trainers themselves are evolving in a way!
5:03 i was actually thinking guts on goldeen would be the thing i would change too!
Funnily enough I had two ideas for regional forms for some of these guys!
Great video man
7:47 Venonat evolves into Venomoth at level 31, why is Koga able to have it
Darn, I can’t believe I let that slip through the cracks
@@TheEliteZee And the effect of Toxic never missing when a Poison-type uses it didn't come until Gen 6. If this is supposed to be a copy of FRLG with Gen 3 mechanics, that mechanic wouldn't exist.
3:44 Hmmmmm, I don't think that name is quite right...
Ah yes... Lt. Erika
why didnt you replaced elctrodes self destruct with explosion?
This is awesome! Love the content. Cant wait to see the other region gym leaders. For the TMs, maybe a good compromise would be to ha e a decent utility TM. Like Toxic would be good no matter when you get it. Not extremely game breaking early but not useless late game. Thinking of 7 more TMs is the hard part lol. Maybe also include a "national rematch" team. Pretty much a team that suits them without having only pokemon from their respective regions. Koga with Drapion for example.
1:35 Always gotta say whenever someone says brings this up, your argument is exactly why they would never do this. Pokemon is such a big franchise, and the games make up such a low percentage of that profit (like 5% max last I checked) that the games are not going to prioritize things like this tbh. I think TCG Pocket may have made more profit than Scar/Vi at this point? On topic though Giovanni would be a big issue in this. He's important to the plot and thus must be fought last. However, he's in the very first town, so a lot of unsuspecting players would try to fight him first. Any opinions on a fix?
I would have Psyduck for Misty’s early gyms over Krabby, but everything else is perfect!
Giovanni does sabotage this whole thing since he’s tied into the plot. If I really had to come up for a way around this then I’d say to add a mandatory final battle with him after you collect all of the badges.
@TheEliteZee I think the argument could be made to just keep him as the final gym leader and not have him scale. The player will fight him periodically throughout the story already. I don't see him going easy on new trainers lol. "Go bulbasaur!" "Nidoqueen, Hyperbeam" Lol
You just have to go through the entirety of Silph Co without a gym badge, simple.
As of two weeks ago, TCG Pocket scored up 200K in gross revenue. Compared to Pokemon RBY for the Virtual Console, aka the least profitable mainline release, which got 19M in gross revenue, it's not even a competition. You gotta remember, barely anyone in the fanbase cares about TCG, comparatively speaking.
Just found your channel recently and love the content. Pokémon theory crafting is such a fun topic and you make it very entertaining. Love the vid and keep it up!
Fearow is such an unfurtonate Pokémon, outclassed in every way possible by every other first-route bird. So underwhelming, and yet it has a very cool desing despite of its simplicity. A regional form could be dope to save him from the pit of irrelevance.
Could be interesting for Castform to have a signature attack like Tera Blast, but it changes type to whatever form it's in
Poor parasect. Already weak 4x to fire and they gave it dry 🙄
1:46 I'll be honest I don't think having a pre-vo is a disqualifier. Having Mime.Jr certainly didn't make Mr. Mime better
an interesting series...if you get to gen 2 there is...a lot to go over since Johto has the weakest batch of mons by far, and some that are still terrible are Sunflora (please don't make it grass/fire, i get it's got sun in it's name and its a sunflower...but it's a very weak reason in my eyes to make it a fire-type), Meganium, Furret, Ariados, Delibird, Sudowoodo, Octillery, Shuckle, Magcargo, Corsola (i know this got a regional form back in gen 8...but the original is still bad), Noctowl and of course Ledian No wonder a lot of Johto mon's where given new evolutions in later gens (Togetic, Sneasel, Piloswine, Murkrow, Aipom, Yanma, Misdreavus, Girafarig, Ursaring, Dunsparce, Gligar, Porygon2 and Stantler)
PikaSwole was a riot
Unown should learn all moves whose name starts with their respective letter. For example, S Unown learns Stealth rocks and Spikes while G Unown learns Geomancy. That would be chaotic but chaos is fun.
Parasect gets dry skin, prankster, pure power.
Unknown power should raise users random stats by 1 and lower a opponents random stats by 1 so you could get sp.atk up and they get sp.def down if you're lucky.
One thing that i thought of castform was that, what if castform, as it switches in, sets up a weather (like drizzle and drought do) depending on the situation and/or the environment and/or the opposing Pokemon
fun fact: fearow is based on the Anhinga. Take that as you will. If anyone wants to use that fact to buff it, it wouls be interesting. Though, being water/flying if basing it closer to its reference (Anhinga) in that case seems not necessarily great,
Shedinja learns sword dance smh
Sorry - "Protean" is pronounced "pro-tee-an," not "pro-teen." "Pro-teen" is "Protein"
mandjtv needs to see this
Parasects Damp needs to be there, it gets False swipe, Spore, and Damp which makes it perfect for catching Pokemon
Parasect is still the only Spore user who can also learn False Swipe, I think
I’d make Fearow Flying/Dark and Parasect Bug/Ghost
Seaking is already perfect 🐟🐟🐟
