I was in bangladesh back in 89 when u2 done this concert (31/12/89.) Just before it struck 12.am u2 took to the stage. My nephew tapped this on cassette from the radio and when i came back to England he gave me the tape and I recorded for myself, my god what lovely memories this brings back. I wish I still had That cassette god knows what happened to it..

At their peak, from 1985ish through 2000ish, there were very very few on their level in the history of popular music(btw thats an incredibly long peak). This is was recorded right at the beginning of their peak. And you can tell. His voice was just incredible here. My God I miss this band.

The screams from Danny to Marcus was a desperate and a very dangerous attempt to survive. I pray the Almighty continues to bless and strengthen our great warriors both home and abroad.
