@@dutch_martyr are you talking about the fiberglass that's behind the mesh? If so, I'm not sure if that's a sort of protector to keep some of the heat off of the carbon fiber. I have it ran across anyone that's done that either if this is what you're talking about

@FreakishlyUNeek yeah it's like, white fiberglass packing. I want to take it out but good point, it might be there to protect the carbon fiber

@@butternuts842 Aprilia didn't pay Iron Pony to investigate because of the amount of hours it would take to tear apart the engine and look into it so they decide to just to replace it with the new engine. However, I was told by a couple mechanics there that chances are it was an oil pressure valve that backed off into the engine or a bolt that wasn't torqued spec but they didn't specify what bolt it was... They said it isn't a common issue but it has happened.

@FreakishlyUNeek how did you find out there was an issue with your bike. I mainly wanna know what to look for in case my bike does the same thing. Thanks for the reply bro

@butternuts842 honestly there really wasn't a warning. One day I was riding to work you know, kind of in heavy traffic And then I felt some excessive vibration at my feet and when I looked at the dash that's when I seen the lights lit up.

@FreakishlyUNeek good to know. Thankfully I haven't had that issue yet so I was able to ride it 7k miles this year with just that one shifter issue. Thanks again for responding

@@alexv5581 are we talking about skill on a track or street? I agree with you to an extent. We both can agree that you will never be able to reach a 1000+cc bikes full potential on the street. Some would say 1000cc bikes have useless power for the street. If you are always following the speed limit or ride in a city/urban environment I would say a 600cc bike is to much for the street in that case. To your point, if that same rider were to throw his leg over a Panigale V4 or the RSV4 he would literally obliterate any rider on a 600cc. The track is a different animal where skill can trump speed unless highly skilled individuals are on speedy bikes. Again, the only time you're ever gonna push a 1000+cc bike to it's potential is on the track. When hear "600cc to 1000cc to soon?" For street purposes, to me, has nothing to do with arrogance. To me I had to do with throttle response, torque, raw power, weight, confidence all come into play. Assuming you check all those boxes after riding on a 600cc bike then you can absolutely go right into a 1000+cc bike, on the "street" Your statement at the end, that you test rode an RSV4 and its beyond my skill, that statement needs clarification, because that RSV4 on the street, does not need a Rossi or Pedro skill set. Especially with all the rider aids that come with your modern day liter bikes. You know nothing about me, you have neve rode with me or even seen me on a track. I never even mentioned riding g a bike on a track in this video. So to make an assumption that anything is beyond my skill level when you simply do not know my skill level is delusion on your part. Lastly, you can put Rossi right beside on that same R6 while I'm on my RSV4 I guarantee you I'll smoke him or anyone else on any 600cc, 650cc, 750cc, 899cc on the highway straights. You why? Because it's simply does not involve a whole lot of skill to beam a straight line pull. Maybe skill would definitely come in consideration if you were riding the canyons but my friend, I would not push my bike to the limits on the canyons because that's simply ridiculous and the margin for error is slim and one mistake could lead you off of a cliff. A 1000+cc bike Is just fun to have. It awesome to harness that power in your right hand and to be able to take advantage of that low end torque especially with the RSV4, and have power on demand through any rev range. It's just simply fun to have a 1000+cc bike period. The sound of the RSV4, the feel, the power and torque is something you will not get in a 600 cc. Which is why I bought the RSV4. I'm not saying all that power and torque is necessary on the street or track but here in America you have the freedom to purchase one even if you've never even rode a bike (which is terrifying to think about) It's as simple as that. That's why a lot of people ride them and it's why a lot of TH-cam influencers ride them and most importantly, it's why I ride mine. Now to your point, if I were to become a dedicated track rider only, I would definitely have a 600cc bike simply because the weight and maneuverability. Also it's a blast to run all the way through the gears, especially if you have an auto blipper it makes life a lot easier on the track. I really don't know how long I'm going to be able to ride the super sports but whenever that time comes I'm definitely going with the Tuono V4!! There's no hesitation on my end with that decision. Especially now that I have the RSV4. That engine, with the sound and feel, and top it off with the torque. I'm definitely going to get a tuono in the future for sure 100%.... In Mama Bear wasn't exactly thrilled with the footage😅 I appreciate you watching the video in the comment brother!!

@@disciplemike6477 I was in the same boat when I was looking for a video to show me how to do it. I couldn't find one out there. The only one I found was just a video where it showed you what it sounds like after the fact and it only had very poor written instructions in the description. So I figured I'd just do it myself and learn as I go and share it!! I'm glad it worked out for you brother!!

@@balbinomercado7602 unfortunately Aprilia didn't pay the dealership to diagnose what happened. I was told it was more likely a oil pressure valve backing off an engine or some bolt that wasn't torque to specs backed out. But unfortunately it can't be confirmed. I will say though, that's why I got the 5-year extended warranty man... But I know a few people who have the same bike and hadn't had a problem at all with it so...🤷🏽

@@JAydUBr6 I did not man... I was just riding to work and fairly heavy traffic and felt significantly more vibration than usual and looked at the dash and it was flashing red. I'm just thankful Aprilia and my dealership The Iron Pony was able to get me a brand new engine ship to them and installed in less than 2 weeks so I could get back on the road.

@@ariels9885 I did not decat mine because that would require a tune/flash the ECU. Unfortunately that would void your warranty however, I do know some individuals who flash it back to OEM map before they get service done or have to take it in. Once it's out of the shop they reinstall the racing map...

@@irkdhesa I hold hardly agree that it made my bike sound a hundred times better!!! It definitely was worth a little bit of a headache. As far as the process to remove the OEM rivets. I never had a problem with any of my 3/16 metal drill bits braking. However when I originally started, I was using 1/8 metal drill bit and then went up to a 9/64 which, to me, made the process a bit of a pain. Once I went to my local hardware store and picked up (2) 3/16 Drill bits it helped a lot. Getting some of the rivets out once you punch through with the drill bit was a bit of a pain at times. When it came to putting in the new rivets, I used a one-handed rivet gun to set the rivet or get the rivet halfway set. Then I used a two-handed rivet gun that looks similar to a pair of bolt cutters. That allowed me to really squeeze and eventually set and break the rivet off. In the video you seen where I used a aluminum 1/4 inch rivet, that was because I accidentally bored out the hole and made it too big for the 3/16 rivets. This was because I was using a smaller drill bit and trying to waller it out. This to me was by far the most challenging part of this process. There was a few times where I was trying to set a new rivet in the hole and for whatever reason my rivet would not set properly and would fall into exhaust therefore I would have to redrill the rivets that I had already set. But again, with that 3/16 drill bit that i had, it was fairly quick and simple for me. Again this was my first time doing it and there was no videos on how to remove it. All I seen was a bunch of random post that was kind of all over the place and none of it ended up actually applying to my bike. I'm definitely confident that if I were to do this all over again it will be fairly simple. Regardless I'm glad that you did it and you're happy with the results because I definitely was!!! @@MegaTrotz Make sure you get a rivet gun that's got a strong enough bite to snap the rivets. I used a one-handed one to get the ribbit almost set and then I use my two-handed pair to Cut it off

I hear ya Kev! I researched so many camera that I dreaming about them... But I never really look at camcorders....ever! Well some how this camera popped up in my email and I looked at the specs outa curiosity and I was kind of blown away. Everything I wanted was in the camcorder. To get a DSLR that shoots 120fps at full 1080 is going to run you atleast 2500 with the GH5 and even more with the Sony A7sii. I didn't want to deal with all the lens either. Unless I'm taking stills of course. But this camcorders specs were unbelievable. Long story short I got it off of Amazon used/refurbished for 640$!!!

Well I will be looking out for one as I want that 120fps slo mo !!!
