cover of the who song 'my generation.' everyone smashes their equipment at the end!! paul has some technical difficulties in doing so. singer probably regrets that last jump....
Amazing Journey - Paul Gilbert/Mike Portnoy/Billy Sheehan/Gary Cherone - Young Man Blues

from the bonus features of the DVD. Great cover! Gary Cherone on the vocals The Who supergroup.
WHO is this?!? "Yes"
It's crazy to say, but Paul is actually the most off of the original, he just doesn't fill the room like Alex does. Fuckin amazing though!
we need this in HD
❤
FANTASTIIIICCCC \m/
Idiots
Bro winrar COMING FOR YOU
a lot
portnoy ,sheean great, rest must practse
This is such great live video footage! I watch/listen to it pretty much every weekend sipping a beer or a whiskey ...if not the next weekend haha
Phefuckinnomenal
Kudos to Gilbert for staying true to the tone and tastefully being himself while paying respect to Lifeson..
Fuck. That just woke me up. Rock music needs more of this
Paul NAILED Alex's tone on those ringing Lifeson Chords*. I've heard a lot of covers but nothing comes close. I've tried but I'm convinced that without an ES-335, it's impossible. Anyway, I love this. *The Holy Lifeson chord: F#maj sus4 sus7. From low E to high E: 2 4 4 3 0 0. Best played at maximum volume. 😄🤘
Great!
I don't get it. Not even close!
YAMAHAに対する絶対の信頼… ビリーがベースをぶん投げる… 気を遣ってはいたけど最高!
lmao at Paul dressing like Pete, beautiful
I missed this by 13 years mother fuckers do not be bitches in an asshole
Mr. Moon is alive
That singer has lost his mind, wearing an untucked Marine Corps “Charlie” blouse (that he hasn’t earned).
Man, Mike Portnoy has played so much with Billy Sheehan over the years! Amazing Journey, Sons of Apollo, Portnoy Sheehan MacAlpine Sheridan, The Winery Dogs... They got amazing chemistry!
It's astounding to see Billy still showing the kids how it's done. This video really recorded his side really well. I can hear every note of his, clearly. Amazing!
Bands love jamming The Who, goes straight to the spine.
"I need everything louder than everything else" lmao
So great to have this material of Sean Malone
Since when does Paul Gilbert have a British accent?
I think when you sing Geddy, you do it in your own voice, everyone sounds best after the first two or three lines, then they go back to impersonating and singing too high. Even someone like Sabastian Bach did the same in my humble opinion, he sounded great when they came back from the lead and then remembered it was Geddy and started screeching again. It's more of a Falsetto than a scream. Geddy, he's unique, just like everybody else.
mr.bigのヴォーカルがゲイリーの世界線を見てみたい❤
This is half of Mr Big and yet they make it sound like a completely different band and sound! Of course, the other half is also made of up of two greats, Gary and Mike.
Thats freakin awesome
SGは丈夫だ。
みんな服が本家っぽい。
I have never seen so many notes played, and so little said. This was lifeless and painful to listen and see
Sheehan does not groove
How is Gilbert channeling the ghost of a guy that isn’t even dead yet? Lol. I thought it was Townsend. Portnoy does a mean Moon too. Cherone might as well have been Daultry. Best WHO tribute band ever.
Love those vintage lawsuit Ibanez guitars
Funny how it sounds just like a cover band
why does this look like it was filmed in the 1970s?
Whos that singer duude?
I just love all the professional opinions from all the professional musicians and professional sound men on here. But I can't seem to find any of their work on here. Never heard of a single one of them. Just a bunch of keyboard warriors running their lips.
Mike Portnoy Always Great !!!! Paul Gilbert a Master guitar player !!! 🎶
The three best people on their instruments around. 🤘🏽
Portnoy is a top shelf drummer, but he doesn't have the strict meter and feel Neil had. Just an easy count on a lot of pauses he was off count (and feel) compared to Peart. Neil was Neil and there will never be another one like him.
Hey Paul... where’d you pickup your fake English accent??? BS.
This is as good a cover of The Who's version of YMB that you'll hear. I am sure there are people who prefer it over the original live track from the Leeds show in 1970. The musicians on this stage are top flight. Still, even this assembly of talent can't match the ferocity of The Who at their peak. That is by no means a knock on these beasts, it's just I don't believe anyone could replicate the majesty of The Who during that time period.
First I was wondering why Paul's taped up Marshall? New secret Amp...maybe MARTIAN? Oh yeah, Pete played HIWATT! Not quite the same sound but Paul does know his nostalgia and loves doing it. I miss his ADA Rack during Mr.Big that sound was clear, crunchy, and massive... blew me away! Nuno used ADA's and Gary's up there singing ha-ha.
Cherone's good, other than that booooringggg, we know you can play the old tunes too.
This would of been dope asf to see live Mike billy and Paul holy shit all three are masters of their trade thanks for sharing this
スーパーミュージシャン達が各々好きにやっても本家のような魔法産まれない The Whoの魔法は奇跡だな
Aren't these fellas quite spot on as a The Who tribute band? Portnoy is Keith Moon.
