Will the key still kill the bike without a kill switch hooked to the cdi?

I am trying to get spark on a Chinese go-kart. I put the kit in it that has the new cdi, regulator, coil, and solenoid. I can get it to turn over but no spark. Every time I connect the hot wire back up it chirps loud two quick chirps. I have found the remote kill box and should be able to just unplug it to get spark. But still no spark. The neighbor owns it and list the fob. I sure would appreciate your input.

Don't know if anyone will see this but I got a little 72cc china bike and I got it running great and I was trying to hook up the ignition wires so I could have lights and I touched 2 of the ignition wires together and pop, now it just cranks, I checked the only fuse i can find and it looked good i swapped it with a different one just in case and it didn't work. If anyone has any ideas please let me know as this is basically my little get around quad. Please and thank you

The one I was working on would start up and lose spark shortly after, I unplugged the remote start and now it stays running.

so what is your set up it looks great but can you do a build break down for me year, model, rims tires, any other mods? I love the chopped cage I see a lot of guys do it but what do you end up doing for a windshield I never see anyone post anything?

On a artic cat you have to have the left brake lever pulled back or it won’t fire when starting

Your idle is to high thats what makes it hard to get into gear, the idle screw is that knob on the end of the tube/cable on the side of the carb.

I'm gonna go try it see if that works now if I do that and still no spark how will I know if it's the cdi coil or stator and what about the rectifier isn't it supposed to be in there somewhere please you have other videos on these

I think a diagram would have help better, i think the cdi have more than 4 terminals to connect wires

Mike I know this video is old but I need your help I’ve asked atleast 20 people and no one know how to help but I can’t find my exact part mine has 3 wires plus the one for the sensor but when I look up the part I can’t find any except a 3 wire plus 2 wires I could really use your help I tried wiring your system up wire from wire but my magneto doesn’t have the same wires I wired each of the 3 up after figuring out which one ran the sensor but out of the 3 wires I tested all 3 with no clue which one to start with and still no luck Thanks for reading this and thank you for helping you definitely have my sub

Hi Mike, I could use help. 110cc Tao Tao. Died during cold cranking after winter. Battery is good, 13.1 volts measured. New solenoid and CDI. Lights work. No click sound from solenoid or starter. Tried jumping solenoid and get nothing. Could it be this start switch?

where does the 2nd wire for pulse go

Hello if you would lead me in the right direction. I was given a Chinese 4 wheeler kid's version. Wiring is toast. With the way you are wiring just to see if this thing will fire or at least get a spark .What wire do I use for a turn on switch. . I'm not a mechanical engineer or a electrition. Just trying to find out if I should junk it or get it fixed for the kids. . Don't want to invest unless it's worth it.

Your idle adjustment is way to high and is the reason it grinds gears and is difficult getting out of gear. Turn it down to about 600rpm

Great video man. Helped me figure out my ignition switch was the culprit.
