wow your so rude to the people that play field hockey like i play field hockey and those 24 likes you have at the moment is haters like you are
That’s why Miggy is the goat
Cap,i asked google
As a Nats fan, I got goosebumps reliving these memories with you. So many years of failure, heartbreak, and defeat after a half century of no baseball at all in Washington were erased with one swing. I was a senior in high school when Howie hit the pole, and I don’t think any high schooler in Virginia made progress on their college applications the next day (I sure didn’t). Loved the video
22:21 "We're going to have tough times, we're going to learn how to win, but the only way to learn how to win is through all those mistakes and failures and I'll tell you all those failures have paid off today." What a great moment.
Los Detroits.
One Goat vs another Goat was fun to watch Miggy as a life time tiger's fan hated the yankees but always respected Mariano and Jeter. You dont see many players stick to the same team any more do to trades and free agency
“Thank you Lyle Overbay” the first time that sentence has ever been said
Can’t wait for part 2!
Dumb
😂
Good video, thanks
Way cool 😎
No better team than the 2019 Washington nationals!!!!
I'm sorry in 2019 you're saying he had over 1 cWPA in the regular season alone? Forgive me for doubting. Ah. Upon looking at the baseball-reference page it's 1.2%, not 1.2.
I appreciate the use of the Pokémon level-up jingle.
The main thing I remember about Howie Kendrick is that he shared space in my brain with Howie Mandel for some reason
Travel ball is really expensive. I bet a lot of great players were priced out of even being discovered.
That "ding" off the right field pole made this 70 year old Washingtonian cry like a baby.
As a long hurting Mets fan you saying the Dodgers lost to the Cubs hurts. I know u *mets but the audio is there. It's 1 of the few things I have joy w about the Mets & you took it away.😑 lol
If yall would show up all the time maybe youd have a team
A reverse strike doesn’t do shit to people trying to make money. You have to HURT their pocket to get what you want, you guys showed up admirably to show that it wasn’t on the fans. But all you did was make sure they kept the team since “these idiots will still pay us” And I’m not calling the fans idiots, that’s just most likely the way they’ll see this
Wouldn’t it prove to the owners that the people in Oakland are willing to give them money, hence, they should stay?
Only the team got sold anyway lmao
Who’s here when they moved to LV ⬇️
Skibidi
Bro they still haven’t moved to LV yet though have they?
It got approved like 4 days ago
Rangers' fan here. First of all, what a great storybook ending. What every kid dreams of doing. Second, I can't help but notice all the '23 Rangers Easter Eggs hiding in this video. Andrew Heaney, Corey Seager cameos, and Max Scherzer being the starting pitcher of that game 7 against the Astros, the first time in history in any sport where the home team lost every game of a 7 game series. The only other time it's happen being the '23 ALCS, also with the Astros being the losing team, and also with Mad Max starting for the winning team. Also, Kendrick's grand slam after going 0-4 reminded me of Garcia doing the exact same thing.
I was in Nats Park watching Game 7. As soon as they put Will Harris in the entire stadium started screaming
I never got why German's perfect game was hyped up. He's an objectively terrible human being who doesn't deserve to play any form of professional baseball and he got it playing against a glorified farm team in a very pitcher friendly park.
Well. Where’s part 2?
@new york expecting an apology video with tears
11:36 can you really trust a man who thought those glasses were a good choice?
growing up, i was a 1b, but i always though that 2b was the most overlooked inf position. Kendrick was a dawg for the angles in my time growingup, and i respect that a ton, but as an astros fan, he can suck my dick from the back lmao
that foul pole noise is haunting. even more than albert of lidge, soler in 21, or losing the kc game in 15
In the name of all my fellow Venezuelan: Damn you Jim Joyce
It's still a perfect game. The A's while bad are still a MLB team with grown men that get paid millions to play baseball. Domingo may have his own demons to fight but that shouldn't take away from his ability to go out on that field and do what he did.
I agree, German threw a legit perfect game! However, the A's players do not get paid millions lol
@@Beyond_TheScore clout chasing makes people sound dumb
What’s the outro song? Also great video. Was very well put together.
It's called A Magical Journey Through Space Leonell Cassio on the Audio Library channel
Another amazing video. Your editing is always fantastic, Shane. I will forever be so proud of you❤️
Petition to remove Domingo's name and add Galarraga's
The dumbest thing I ever heard
You never said how he changed baseball.
As a HUGE Astros fan, it still hurts what he did in game 7, but I’m over that already, I congratulated the nats on their win and move on, Astros won it all in 2022
July 31, 2023 - 12 years since this day. My dad and I were up in the nosebleeds along the third base line and I remember seeing this all go down like it was yesterday. My dad has since passed away, and everytime I see clips from this game I get a little emotional. Thanks for highlighting it, one of my favorite memories in sports! This era of Tigers baseball was special.
Can't believe this video didn't get to my algorithm until now, Al was literally baseball's matt millen
7months later and now we have 9 pitchers on the IL….
da fwack
Howie Kendrick is a damn good name for a baseball player too.
Rendon, Soto and Howie were awesome. Never forget.
I’m a 37 year old life-long Red Sox fan. I loved hating Howie Kendrick as an opposing player near 20 years ago, now this video alone has made me a Howie Kendrick fan
I’m a Howie Kendrick fan (well I’m a rangers fan)
Huge Angel fan here. Always loved Howie. Makes me happy that in that Nats season he made people remember him and now he is one of the most loved players of our time. Howie Kendrick is the man!
Hothead? Gotta be Scherzer. Dudes a psycho.
I've only attended one MLB game and in that game only one player hit a home run. It was Howie Kendrick.
Great going Howie! No matter how many times you got knocked down, you remembered to get back up!
Howie Kendrick is a Washington sports legend - he could walk into any bar in Washington DC and not have to pay for anything
